A 1st or 2nd grader came up to me and said "ohh a baby!". I said yep. She says "did you eat a baby??". Not thinking I rub my belly and say "mmmm.". She said why would you do eat a baby and laughed.
Oops, wondering what she will say at home tonight.... Just flew right out of my mouth. haha
Re: I should think before talking....
I work in an office for an organization that has a preschool. The preschool teacher, upon finding out that I was pregnant, told a group of 4 year olds that, "Miss Licia has a baby in her belly!"
The next question, immediately, was, "How did it get there?"
Barring explaining sex to you, kiddo, which I'm sure your parents would just loooove a stranger to do, I ate it.
It's a girl!
LOL
I think the parents would rather you let the kid assume you ate it....rather then send them home with questions about sex.
My youngest nephew asked me how the baby gets out of my belly....without thinking I said "My belly button" My sister (also his aunt) looked at me and said "Don't lie to him!"
I was thinking....do I REALLY want to explain where this baby comes out...or do I want to leave that up to his mom to correct?????
Yup....belly button...that's the ticket.
