Daycares - which one?

I am new to Chicago and I am trying to decide between 3 daycares.  I have toured each of them and they all seem to have pros and cons to me.  It is so hard to decide.  Does anyone know anything about any of these 3 daycares or send their kids there?  Or like one?  love one?  hate one?  heard good things or bad things?  any help you have, would be so much appreciated.

1.  The Goddard School on Armitage

2.  American Kidz Academy in Lincoln Park

3.  Bright Horizons at The Atrium (near Old Town) - Is this an ok area ?

Re: Daycares - which one?

  • Welcome to Chicago!

I am switching my kids into a Goddard School in the suburbs. I love their curriculumn and the one we are using has a gym, a computer lab and a great outdoor play area. I am not sure if the one downtown is the same or not, so I guess I am not much help. I lived in the city for many years, but moved the burbs when the kids came!

Yes, Old Town is a good area. Maybe not as quiet and established as a "safe" area as Lincoln Park is, but still a good area.
