Anyone ttc?? We made the decision that I will get my Implanon taken out next month and although we wont be trying per say we will not be preventing it either. I'm hoping to get pregnant in March! I'm super excited but another small part of me thinks I may be insane! Heres hoping for 2u2!

DH and I agreed to not even think about TTC again until DS turned 1......DH is deploying at the end of this year so we may even wait till DS turns 2. I try not to plan my life around the Navy but the command DH is at right now has a guaranteed deployment rotation so we know when he will be here and not be here. I would rather wait till he comes back....I for sure don't want 2u2 lol

Sorry your dh is deploying! Mine was in the Marines for 5 years and went to Iraq twice. No fun at all!!!

This post made me nauseous. I would TTC right now if we could but DH wants to wait. I honestly get sick to my stomach though when I think about it. I have such a HUGE overwhelming fear of having HG again. I will extremely excited when we do TTC again and eventually KU'd, but that fear will probably never go away.

Maybe this time next year. I'm still pretty terrified to go into labor again. When I think about it a lot I get that nervous stomach drop feeling.

As much as I want another child I'm terrified to get pregnant again we had 5 explainable miscarriages before we had our wonderful son. I'm worried we will have to go through all that again.

For the first few months after we had DS I really didn't want to have another. Then I got to thinking we'd try when DS turned 2. Now I'm thinking we'll trying when DS is 18 months. Give me a few more months and I'll probably want to start TTC when DS is 1, but definitely no sooner.

As soon as I start O'ing again we will be actively ttc. I don't mind 2u2 but it is not my dream. However it took so long to get pregnant last time I can't see waiting!

I am over 35 so right now we are on the rhythm method and would be ok w an oops... Plan to actively start trying in the spring. I know I'm crazy but when you start getting older you can't wait too long!

Nope. The plan is to wait until DS is on his way out of diapers...1 in diapers at a time is enough for us...plus I would like to try and be a SAHM or at least only work part time, and DH needs to make a little bit more money in order for us to be able to do that, but that is the goal/plan...we'll see! I am in no rush to be pregnant again or have to recover from another C/S.

This exactly! Although DH says absolutly no to another one before LO is 2!! I'd really like to start trying next fall/winter and have them be about 2.5 years apart.

My problem is that I miss being pregnant sooooo darn much!!

No way! I've had such a hard time adjusting to our new life. It's crazy because DS really has been an easy baby for the most part. I see moms with toddlers and infants and I just cringe at the thought! DH and I had planned to have 2, but it's going to take a lot of convincing on both our parts to make that happen. Family keeps telling me to make sure they're close in age and to get on it. I just want them to shove it! Plus I want to enjoy DS being our only one for as long as possible.

That's my problem, too! I want to be pregnant again so badly! Even my labour and delivery were short and so much better than I expected. I am soooo ready to do it all again!

We have been trying since 6 weeks. I doubt it will happen since I had so much trouble with the last one, but I figured we better get an early start.

I'll be 40 in 2 months and we needed IVF to get DD, so the RE told us to get started on #2 ASAP, and preferably before turning 40 for the best chance of success. Lucky for us, DD has been a really easy kid, generally only fussing when tired or hungry, and has been STTN since 6.5 weeks, going 11-12 hours since around 2 months.

We both wanted two kids, so it was a no-brainer to start up right away. Luckily, I got pregnant on my first round of IVF, just like last time, and I am 7 weeks pregnant today with #2. After this one, we're done.

I agree, I feel as though I am done. I am very happy and content with my little love. I had such a difficult delivery and I still do not feel right from it....I dont think my body can go through it again. I agree it was a huge adjustment for my husband and I as well.
