DH's uncle works for ABC and gets free passes to Disneyland. Even though DS is kinda young for Disneyland we had so much fun!
Meeting Mickey:
We also met Donald Duck:
On the Dumbo ride, which was a 60 minute wait, but well worth it:
Anybody planning on taking their LO's to Disneyland or Disneyworld in the upcoming year?
Re: AW: Our Trip to Disneyland
Baby Boy #2 is on the way!
Looks like you guys had fun. We took DS when he was about 6 months to Euro Disney when we did a trip to Normandy and Paris. It was only a day trip and DS was much more interested in looking at all the people.
We are talking about doing a Disney cruise when the new baby is about 2 years, so DS will be about 3 and a half.

Looks like you had fun! DH and I met while working at Disney World so we had to get LO out there! We took him for the first time in December and he got his first haircut there as well. We were only at the park for a few hours at a time and it worked out really well.
But oh my, it was VERY different from when it was just the two of us.
We took DD at 10 months. We were in So Cal and I wanted to go to Disneyland. We had two days in the park and she did fine - she even took naps in her stroller!! Even though we were there in the off season and the lines were pretty short (some rides were less than 10 min, most waits were 20-30 mins or less, peaking at 40-50 min), I was shocked at how few rides we went on! Stuff is just so much slower with a kid!
The Baby Room was great! Went there to change and nurse (which also slowed us down as we'd always end up needing to go there when we were on the other side of the park.
).
My parents were there with us and that helped a lot. I don't think we would have gone if it was just the 3 of us.
The best experience was breakfast at Storyteller's Cafe in the Grand Californian. We didn't go there for the characters, but there were characters walking around. I didn't know how DD would react to them so I hadn't taken her to any characters in the park. But the characters were so awesome with her - they totally know how to approach babies and let DD take the lead and touch them and stuff. DD loved them and honestly, it was so great that we went back there for breakfast the next day, too, so DD could have that experience again (and it was a damn good breakfast!).
Anyway....DD tolerated the park, but meeting the characters at breakfast was, I think, the highlight for her/us.
Our next trip is tentatively planned for her 4th birthday.
(Love visiting in the off season!)
Glad you had fun! Disneyland is BEAUTIFUL at Christmas time!
