I just don't know how to feel comfortable wearing the "ugg" type boots at my age. They are so comfy, and perfect to slip on for the cold winter months I will have until I give birth, but every time I try them on I just feel like I can't pull them off. I do have to wear business casual 50 hours a week, maybe that is disturbing my ability to go as casual as ugg boots. I just want something warm and comfy to wear shopping, to family and friends' houses. sigh. Anyone here own/wear them confidently?

I don't wear Uggs because I choose not to spend that kind of money on them, but I do wear other warm boots with leggings and a long sweater dress or skinny maternity jeans and a sweater and am very happy. At 38, I don't dress in the junior department, so unless my shoes are extremely young-looking (which Uggs seem only when they're on a teenager wearing bright leggings and a sweatshirt or some 80s retro top), I figure anything I'm wearing is fine. And on some days, I just don't give a flea on a rat's hiney what anyone thinks-- if I'm comfortable, the world is a happier place for everyone. LOL
I have a pair. I don't get a chance to wear them much in Hawaii, but when I'm traveling, I love to wear them. They are so comfy!

I had a pair for a few years and am looking to purchase another pair, but they weren't the typical uggs style, however they were still super comfortable, waterproof and had the wool lining. That's always an option if you don't want to buy they regular kind. They have alot of different styles avail.

Thanks for the responses ladies. I've been looking at some Michael Kors on sale, just hard justifying the purchase when I don't go much if anywhere but work right now.
