XP: Keyfit 30 adapters?

Are there any of who use these car seats that can teach me about the adapters? I read in the multiples board FAQs that it is now universal. Does that mean the adapter will attach to the car seat and make it universally compatible with most if not all strollers?

We are looking at double joggers; we have twins on the way. The Schwinn Turismo in particular. (If that info helps at all.)

Began TTC #1 in January 2011
Confirmation and Removal of Endo - March 2012
+#1 on 4/1/12 - m/c @ ~8w 5d
+#2 Tx cycle 4 - 5 mg Letrozole + 75iu Follsitim & Ovidrel w/ IUI on 11/13/12 - EDD 7/23/13 
7 week u/s revealed THREE babies, all with heartbeats.  153bpm, 148bpm, and 136bpm
9 week u/s revealed loss of Baby B.  A and C are growing on track.  A measuring 9w1d with 172bpm and C measuring 9w0d with 179 bpm.  
Elective sex determination u/s on 2/8 revealed... boy AND girl!

    No. Not all strollers accept car seat adapters.

    I have a Bob Revolution and use the key fit 30 adapter for my key fit car seat. My bob is the 2012 model

    Thank you.  I think I was misunderstanding what "universal" meant.

    I'm guessing universal means any keyfit works with it? There are the keyfit, keyfit 30 and keyfit magic models. Our uppa vista used an adapter but it would only work with the uppa and keyfit. It would not have worked on other stroller brands or other manufacturer's seats.

    It means it works with different brands of car seats... but probably not all of them and not for all strollers, for sure.  For example, I have a city mini stroller.  There is a universal adapter that will work with a given list of car seats for that particular stroller.  The adapter attaches to the stroller and then then car seat snaps onto it.
