Mobile Bumpers: I don't wanna go!

Back to work, that is.

The girls and I have been sick since Christmas Eve with a nasty cold (well, mostly DD2 and me, DD1 seems to be well on her way to recovery now) and I just want to stay home in my jammies and drink chicken noodle soup. How bad would it be for me to call in sick on the first work day of the year?

I sucked it up and came in. The office is pretty quiet this week with a lot of people still on holiday, so no one will notice if I just spend the day staring at my screen. lol

I am, however, headed to the clinic over lunch. Hopefully I can get someone to see me, or at least DD2. She's been waking up crying these past 2 nights, so I think she might have an ear infection. Poor little one

I always hated going back after the holidays, but things were always usually pretty quiet anyway so I could kinda veg out. Hope DD2 is feeling better and your day goes by quickly!

Depends. I know you get a year maternity leave in Canada but do you intend to keep the job after lil man arrives? When I worked I was superrrrr protective of my sick days so I would probably head in.
