How often do you work? 5 days/week, about 9 hours/day
Commute? An hour each way
How's work going? It's going. I'm still in the middle of performance madness with 3 programs in the next 2 weeks, and 3 more that I'm preparing for in the Spring. Once I get to April, it will be smooth sailing.
How's parenting going? Some times it feels easier than ever. Some times it feels harder than ever. He's learning "No" right now, and it's very difficult to stay strong with him. Re-directing him only works for so long before he throws a tantrum because he can't have something that he wants. He's really big on pinching, slapping and pulling hair.
How's your relationship with your SO going? Rough. We co-exist. Sometimes we argue. Sometimes we get along. I don't feel like I'm in love any more though, and that makes me sad.
How much time with LO do you get on a work day? I get to see him for about 20 minutes before going to work, but that's as I run in and out of the room he's playing in. Then after work, I get about 2.5 hours, which includes cooking dinner, eating dinner, bathtime, and the bedtime routine.
BFing? How's it going? I think we're going to make it to the year mark. He's taking less from me, so my supply is slowly decreasing, but I'm fine with that as long as his needs are decreasing. I'm not excited to give up nursing him (and I'll try to continue morning and night nursing after a year), but I cannot wait to give up pumping!
How much longer until your next day off? 3 more days!

How often do you work? M-F 7:00-3:00 ish
Commute? 35-40 minutes.
How's work going? Ugh...about to enter a busy time with IEPs and revaluations.
How's parenting going? Pretty good right now. Our baby is mellow and very chill. Working on redirecting without using the word no a lot. We don't want her to start saying no to us.
How's your relationship with your SO going? Better than it was. We have learned to find cuddle time and time for us as a couple. I was feeling like I wasn't so in love awhile back and now the feelings of being totally in love are returning.
How much time with LO do you get on a work day? About 20 minutes in the morning and 4 hours each afternoon/ evening.
BFing? How's it going? Formula fed
How much longer until your next day off? Still on break but I get MLK JR day off.
What do you do for "work?" I am a Compensation Analyst, it's a specialization in HR
How often do you work? Full time, Mon-Fri 8-5
Commute? 20 minutes but I work from home sometimes too
How's work going? It's not the best work I have done or can do. I feel like I am not focused and constantly procrastinating doing things. I am usually a very organized person and I have issues prioritizing and balancing everything. Again, my focus is just not there and I have talked to my manager about it. He is my age and has a 15 month so he understands and I felt better after talking to him.If needed I used to work late, log into my laptop after work but now I am too tired and there is no time.
How's parenting going? I think it's going good. I had PPD and didn't get it under control until she was about 4 months, so compared to that time it's a breeze. My husband is actually the one who is more nervous about her falling and being "on" her wherever she goes. Of course I don't want her to fall or get hurt and I go where she goes but he gets nervouse immediately when she crawls fast. She is not sleeping well still, can't fall asleep on her own. She STTN last night but it's rare and we gave CIO a shot (with check ins). It was hard. She's eating table food now and I find it much easier.
How's your relationship with your SO going? We are getting along fine, he helps out around the house a lot. But I am sleeping in the guest room since it's closer to Lillian (we have a split plan house). Since she gets up so much it's just easier to stumble over there than going across the whole house. After she goes to bed we both just hop on the computer. We talk (we carpool when I go into the office). I know we need to spend more couple time connecting but right now we are both still trying to figure it out.
How much time with LO do you get on a work day? Before work average about 30-45 minutes at the most. After work average about 2 hours.

How much longer until your next day off? I have off the weekend, so 3 days!
What do you do for "work?" I am an admin asst
How often do you work? 40 hours. Mon-Fri. 6-2:30
Commute? It's actually very close. 10 min on the highway...15-20 on local streets.
How's work going? Hate it as usual. I wish I were home with Emma. I am severely jealous of hubby.
How's parenting going? Good. We are trying to teach her no. I am pretty bad with it since I hate saying no so much in fear she will have that as her first word to us. Trying to get her to sleep in her crib is worse. She still only will fall asleep at night with us in bed.
How's your relationship with your SO going? OK. Not fabulous since we fight a lot since we never have time alone together. No, we have no one to babysit.
How much time with LO do you get on a work day? I get about 4 hours with her. All of which are feeding her, getting our food ready and eating, bathing her and then getting her ready for bed.
BFing? How's it going? Yes, it's going good. I pump once at work.
How much longer until your next day off? Next day off is Martin Luther King Day.

What do you do for "work?" I'm a teacher.
How often do you work? Monday-Friday...7:30-4:00 (we have an extended day/year).
Commute? My commute is about 25-35 minutes. It depends on the traffic.
How's work going? Busy. I'm planned out way in advance, but I teach 3 different classes + a writing lab, so the grading can be a bit much.
How's parenting going? I'm balancing work + family life a lot better than I was in the beginning of the school year. We have a nice little routine going
How's your relationship with your SO going? I do all of my grading after the girls are in bed, which is the time DH and I usually relax with eachother, so it can be tough to spend time with one another.
How much time with LO do you get on a work day? From the time I get home until bedtime...4:30 - 7:30
BFing? How's it going? N/A
How much longer until your next day off? January 21st...Presidents Day. Then I have a week off in February.
What do you do for "work?" - Corporate Paralegal
How often do you work? - 8-5:30 or sometimes 6:30
Commute? - 30 min unless there is snow then its an hour
How's work going? - not bad but I feel like it took me a really long time to get back into the swing of things. I feel like I always have to prove myself at my job which is nothing new but I feel the pressure even more recently.
How's parenting going? - its going pretty good. I think we typically agree on most things. Like someone else said I think it is definately easier right now. Can't imagine once he starts getting naughty!
How's your relationship with your SO going? - Much better but we also argue...mostly I think because of financial strains. We got a babysitter the other night and ended up in a fight but I think its because we really don't get a ton of time to connect so the things that piss you off get held till you do have time and then it explodes. Nice....since our evening was sort of ruined. Oh well...however its WAAAY better then it was a few months ago and we do acutally have sex more but that is also because we are starting to try for #2
How much time with LO do you get on a work day? - Sometime I get a few minutes in the morning but there are times he is still sleeping when I leave. After work I get anywhere from an hour to two hours.
BFing? How's it going? - I gave up after 6 weeks. Envious of those that could stick it out...I really didn't want to pump at work so I knew I was going to stop before I went back. He has been FF ever since and thats been going great.
How much longer until your next day off? - no idea! I think I might take a Friday off this month to treat myself to some shopping and me time.

How much time with LO do you get on a work day? I make a point to be home by 4:00, so I get 3.5 hours with her before bed!

Commute? Literally 2 minutes away, which is something I can't complain about.
How's work going? Ehh.. I really miss being home with DD and DS... I wish I could be with them during the day.. DH is sooo lucky
How's parenting going? It is one of the only things keeping me sane! I'm loving every minute I get to spend with them. Don't get me wrong, its hard at times, but so worth it. I never knew I could love someone so much as I do them.
How's your relationship with your SO going? It's been better.. We are both tired and work opposite shifts (me during the day, him at night...)
How much time with LO do you get on a work day? An hour or so in the morning, and mayeb 2 hours at night? They go down around 7, so I try to spend as much time with them as I can between cooking and getting stuff ready for work the next day.

How's work going? it's going alright. We just finished our busiest season, end of year, so things should slow down a bit now. It was a stressful December with either myself, DH or DS being sick. And we travelled for the holidays, so I'm glad all that stress if over with.
How's parenting going? Its going alright. Currently, when we say NO, DS looks at us and laughs and goes back to whatever naughty thing he was doing to ellicit the NO. Thinking we might have some troubles there. We had some struggles in December with the stress and sicknesses, but hopefully things will get back on track now.
How's your relationship with your SO going? Like it sounds like the rest of you, could use some work. We get along pretty well and are on the same page parenting-wise, but it has been a bit of a strain just not feeling like we have any alone time. Also, like many of you there's more sleeping and anything else going on in the bedroom. I had a 4th degree tear so DTD still is a bit on the painful side. Generally does not make me excited to do something that I know is going to hurt.
How much time with LO do you get on a work day? About 1hr in the morning and 2-3 in the evening.
BFing? How's it going? Still BFing at this point. Dropping down to 1 pump/day with the new year as I was only getting about 3oz/pump. Still BFing when he wakes up and before bed, however, he is getting 4 teeth on top to add to his 2 bottom ones, and has been biting a lot lately, so I'll have to see how things go. We might wrap it up sooner rather than later if this continues. Been supplementing since about 3 months, so can still FF in addition to his solids.
How much longer until your next day off - Well, took today off because I was feeling miserable. I work at a hospital so our given days off are few and far between. Was off yesterday for New Years. Next planned day off is Memorial Day, but I'm sure I'll take a few days off here and there.
What do you do for "work?" - I work for the Department of Defense in acquisition.
How often do you work? I work a condensed work schedule with alternating 5 day / 4 day work weeks of 9 hour days (M-F only).
Commute? DH and I work in the same building and drive together an hour each way.
How's work going? Despite our economy and budget for DoD going bonkers, my job has been extremely busy. I recently rotated to the services side of contracts, and have been consistently busy since I started. Although it makes for a hectic day, it also makes the day go by MUCH quicker.
How's parenting going? I LOVE being a mom. Our LO is a fairly easy baby and has such a good personality. I know all parents say that, but she is truly a fun baby. Parenting definitely has it's challenges, but I love being a mom, and we have already discussed a future LO.
How's your relationship with your SO going? It's getting better. I love watching him be a wonderful dad and am still in love with him despite the monotonous life we now live. It feels like we're stuck in such a routine. We did have a date night this weekend which was fun, but during the week by the time we get home from work it's almost bedtime. Then we wake up and do it all over again!
How much time with LO do you get on a work day? We spend about an hour with her getting her ready and to daycare (of which she's usually asleep 30 minutes of those in the car). We pick her up around 5:15 and she's in bed by 7:30. So less than 3 hours of awake time.
BFing? How's it going? BF'ing is going great. We will definitely (hopefully, unless something drastic happens) make it to 1 year, which is my goal. I have seen my supply drop since my period returned, but I'm hoping drinking more water will help with that.
How much longer until your next day off? Friday I have off and will spend it with LO alone since DH has to come in
What do you do for "work"? I'm in major gifts fundraising in higher education.
How often do you work? Every day, approximately 8 or 9 hours a day. Sometimes evenings and weekends to wine and dine donors.
Commute? Sometimes 30 minutes, sometimes 50.
How's work going? I love my job and it's going well. I was promoted over maternity leave, so more responsibility, but I do really like it.
How's parenting going? It's going well. I'm rolling with the punches.
How's your relationship with your SO going? Great. DH is a wonderful dad and a really supportive husband. Couldn't do everything without him.
How much time with LO do you get on a work day? We hang out for an hour in the morning and about two hours in the evening.

How much longer until your next day off? No idea! I was just off for 11 days for our holiday break, so probably not until MLK Day.

How's work going? I just got a promotion, so pretty well! I enjoy my job most of the time.
How's parenting going? We are still in survival mode some weeks. E has had constant ear infections (going to an ENT Friday) and isn't sleeping much. She is cranky a lot and I find myself getting frustrated a lot still.
How's your relationship with your SO going? Good! He is pretty amazing. He helps out so much with E and around the house. No complaints there. There's not much sexy time happening, because I choose sleep every time.
How much time with LO do you get on a work day? Not much. Less than two hours. She goes down for the night at about 6:30pm.
BFing? How's it going? Gave that up at 6 months...all formula now.
How much longer until your next day off? No idea. I don't have anything scheduled.

Commute? It's about 40 mintues but a very nice commute. I'm going away from Atlanta so hardly ever any traffic.

How's work going? It's ok but I too am having difficulty focusing.
How's parenting going? Not bad so far. The only thing I am having trouble with right now is getting him to sleep on his own. I think it's because I really rather just cuddle with him. Since I am at work so much I just want to soak him up!
How's your relationship with your SO going? It's going really well. My heart bursts with how much he loves our LO and cares for us. I do think we could probably spend more baby free time together. I think we need to add a date night set for at least once a month and maybe even take a day off during the week (when LO is in DC) every other month or so.
How much time with LO do you get on a work day? About an hour in the morning before I drive him to DC. Then DH picks him up and has him for an hour before I get home. I get home at about 6 and LO doesn't go to sleep until 9 sometimes 10. We try to put him down earlier but he won't have any of it.
BFing? How's it going? BF was going great until about two months ago. I got a really bad stomach virus and had to go to urgent care for fluids. My supply went down by like 4oz and never bounced back. I have been dipping into my freezer stash to make up the difference but that won't last much longer. Now I got my first PPP and my supply is now down another 1oz. Not sure what I am going to do at this point.
How much longer until your next day off? My next day off isn't until Sunday. We don't have any vacation time planned anytime soon but I am off on MLK.

How's work going? Work is going ok. It's annoying when I cannot take the time off to be with my sick LO because other people are already gone.
How's parenting going? It's going great! My LO is such a great kid and the time I get with him is precious.
How's your relationship with your SO going? Well, for the most part, it's ok. It's been kind of difficult to get any "fun" time together, especially since I've been having problems with my IUD. But I wouldn't want to do this with anyone else
How much time with LO do you get on a work day? I'm the one that usually up first, so I can get up to an hour in the morning before he gets dropped off at daycare, and then a couple of hours in the evening while he's being fed, bathed and put to bed.
BFing? Nope, he's been formula fed almost the whole time (no supply)
How much longer until your next day off? I always get Sundays off, since I work at a bank, and MLK is the next holiday!

How's parenting going? Mostly good. The new night wakings are killing me.
How's your relationship with your SO going? Awesome. He's a great dad and loving husband. There are the normal pet peeves (leaving dishes on the counter above the dishwasher, I mean, reallly?!?) but he's a keeper.
How much time with LO do you get on a work day? About an hour in the morning, which will soon be reduced, and about 2 hours in the evening, which is about to increase.
BFing? How's it going? He has good days and bad days. Some days he prefers the bottle, so I have to pump at home. He's been on and off nursing strikes, but is good overall. No teeth so no biting!
How much longer until your next day off? I get weekends off. And soon to have a two week vaca in March, and June & July off! Woohoo!
