I guess it is my turn to intro over here. I haven't been the most prolific poster on TTCAL and recently decided to step back from there somewhat as we pursue adoption.
My story for those of you who don't know: Surprise BFP in Jan. 2011 that ended in BO/MMC/D&C in March. We TTAed until our belated honeymoon in June 2011 and got another easy BFP our first cycle. Apparently we used up our easy BFPs on those two pregnancies. We lost our daughter at 21w in Oct. 2011 due to a placental abruption. We started TTCAL soon after that and got our 3rd BFP in April 2012. We lost that pg in July 2012 due to fetal demise.
So now I am 36 and here. I've had tests and consults and no one seems to be able to tell s why we lost our pregnancies other than "there's something wrong with you but we're not sure what". And no one seems to know why we aren't getting pg.
DH and I had an agreement that we would TTCAL and if we weren't pg by January then we would pursue adoption. We're still TTCAL but it isn't our primary focus. I'm hopeful that I will get a baby of my own in 2013.
I'm sorry that all you ladies are here with me. Fx that we all get off this boat soon.
Re: My turn to intro.
Hi Dandy. I'm sorry you have to be here.
We lost our little guy to 'fetal demise' also. I remember seeing that written in huge letters on the hospital admit forms, it was awful. I know it's frustrating not to get any answers. Or you get silliness like 'nature has a way of taking care of things when they aren't right'. Ugh.
I hope 2013 is a better year for you!
