Ladies, I need your help. Unfortunately I have to order my crib mattress online because of my location to any stores. Whenever we have gone to the city DH and I look and compare as often as possible. But I am still stumped on what to get. Any suggestions? I would like to order it soon because, call me crazy, I have every intention of LO sleeping in the crib from day one.

Re: Crib Mattress
We bought the Kolcraft Pure Sleep Therapeutic mattress.
It's certified for air quality - meaning it releases minimal "gasses". A big concern with mattresses these days are the chemicals released when they are new.
It has a waterproof coating on it, and is firm. (You want firm for a baby to reduce SIDS risk.)
We bought it on Amazon for $63 with free shipping. Reviews are excellent! We ordered online as the selection was larger, and we didn't want to have to lug it home.
It qualifies for Prime/Supre Saver Shipping, too.

I'm ordering the same one. I've heard amazing things about it, plus it's a decent price.
This is the one we got, although it's cheaper at Amazon (we had BRU price match for us). It's super light, I like that.
Baby Bargains recommends these:
The Sealy Soybean Foam Core
Moonlight Slumber's Little Dreamer
or
Naturepedic's Organic Cotton Lightweight
We got the Lullaby Earth Super Lightweight Crib Mattress for $159 from Amazon. It was the one recommended by the sales rep at Buy Buy Baby. Works for crib & toddler bed.
