Velcro = last resort?

O no longer uses her high chair, she hasn't since we got back from Texas for her birthday!! So, we started using plates so that our nice wood table wasn't covered with food. Anyway, O likes to flip her plate, which creates a giant mess and food goes everywhere. 

If you give your LO a plate with meals, how do you keep them from flipping it? Or am I alone in this??

H jokingly said we should use Velcro, but I'm starting to think we should!!

    Mini suction cups might clean easier.

    Tootle portable or travel placemat. I think there's one made by summer infant or kiddopotamus. Would that work?

    We use the portable placemat by summer infant web we go out to restaurants so don't have a high chair tray. It suctions to the table very well. And rolls up in itself really well for travels.

    i second this. We love it and have gotten so many compliments/questions about it.
