Chicco Lullaby LX Playard

We have the Chicco Lullaby LX pack & play, but obviously haven't used it.  We did set it up just to make sure all the parts were there etc.  I am going to be babysitting a friend's newborn in a few weeks and plan to use it.  Do I need a cover for the changing pad?  It doesn't really seem like it, but I wanted to make sure.  Also, do I need a pack & play sheet?  I know Graco pack & plays use them, but again it doesn't seem like I'd need one.  TIA!

Re: Chicco Lullaby LX Playard

  • No on both accounts in my opinion. The only thing I would suggest is a soft blanket to bring with you to help make the bottom bassinet pad softer. Our LO had a hard time adjusting from her crib to the pack & play on the road but we just tuck the blanket under the corners of the pad and it makes it much softer-more like her firm mattress. Hope that helps!

Thank you!  I just wanted to make sure I wasn't overlooking the obvious.

  • We use a sheet for the mattress and just threw down a receiving blanket or waterproof pad on top of the changing pad in case of an accident.
