This is the MoMs to be check in! I will post the check in every Monday. Please contribute whenever you can or when you have any news! I will read all updates before I post the next week, and will try to follow and post birth stories. PM me with any suggestions for QOTW, additions, changes, etc.

No baby related updates here, really. We revealed their sexes to our families on Christmas. That was fun, everyone was excited, and my husband's family really liked the names we picked out. FIL was pleased we're naming one of our girls Eleanor, which was his mother's middle name.
QOTW: My husband and I are going to my favorite seafood restaurant in Chicago tonight. Definitely getting lobster! Then we'll probably be in bed by 11 pm.
We are also making an offer on our first house this afternoon!! Fingers crossed our offer is accepted!
I never really do new year's resolutions, although I guess this year with my GD test coming up in a couple of weeks, my resolution is to cut out the holiday sweets! Luckily they're almost gone.
Update: Everything went well at last week's growth scan and we are schedule for a c/s on January 17th! Now it is just a waiting game to see if the babies decide to make an appearance before then.
QOTW: Today is my 3 year wedding anniversary so DH and I will be spending some quality time together this afternoon when he gets home from work and then we are going to dinner with some friends. Nothing too exciting because it will be a miracle if I am able to stay awake past midnight!

We are due May 20th with our first.
Baby news, 15 week appointment went well. We got to see them on the u/s. We can't wait for our anatomy scan on the 15th!
I've been dealing with tingling/numb hands/arms, headaches and nosebleeds
We are having a nice steak dinner and off to bed early. Husband works 3rd shift so we don't really do the midnight thing or resolutions.
QOTW: We aren't doing anything special which is fine with me. We'll probably watch a few episodes of Homeland and go to bed! My resolution is to spend more quality family time with dd and eventually the babies. Oh, and to be as healthy as possible so I can keep these two in as long as possible.
Update: Baby B is a boy. I have a visit on Thurs. to check my cervical length, but I don't think they are going to look at the babies, so I don't think I will find out Baby A's sex until the 11th at my a/s.
NYE this year will be low key. We are going to a friends house early in the evening. They are going out clubbing afterwards and me and hubby are going home. I know, lame, but I can't seem to stay up past 9:30 these days.
We're still trying to come up with a family tradition for New Years. Since our DS is 6, we have to do something that doesn't require everyone to be awake at midnight. My Mom's family always cooked breakfast together at midnight, so we are doing breakfast for dinner instead. I'm sure DS will be asleep long before midnight.
I don't really do new year's resolutions, but I'm trying to decide if I need to be working from home 2 days a week. I don't want to work from home 5 days a week until I have to. I think it's good for my emotional health to have some face time with my co-workers.
I'm so happy to be feeling our babies moving! DH has only felt them once, I think he doesn't have enough patience.
We've been dealing with the news that our daughters are both affected by cleft lips, and Baby A may have cleft palate as well. It's been an incredibly difficult emotional adjustment, but we need to keep reminding ourselves that our twins are miracles and that we wouldn't be given any challenges that aren't a part of God's plan. We have an ultrasound every other week and we're now waiting eagerly for our next one to learn more about the clefts and start making plans to meet with specialists in January.
I'm also having trouble laying on my back and right side - which sucks! Sleeping is a whole new challenge!

Update: I'll be 28wks on Wednesday (woo hoo) and am still working. My goal is to make it the next two weeks, then I'll probably have my MFM sign me out on bedrest. I'm extremely uncomfortable 24/7, but my boys are doing well and my health is good, so I can't complain too much. We have a growth scan next Monday and I'm hoping the boys will be closing in on the 3lb mark. All were at/above 2lbs at 25wks.
QOTW: We have nothing planned tonight and that's fine with me. The only thing we have done the past few years is write down our hopes/dreams/goals for the next year and seal them in an envelope to be read the following NYE. I'm excited to see what we wrote last year. As far as resolutions are concerned, I'm pretty sure I'll be to busy to change something even if I wanted to
. I'm happy with how things are right now and wouldn't change a thing.

MFI due to retrograde ejaculation/azoospermia.
5/2 IVF #1 cancelled due to large follie.
6/14 start Lupron for IVF #1.2. 6/22 start stims.
7/4 ER and Biopsy.
7/9 Transferred 2 (1-4BB and 1-3BB) embryos. 4 frosties.
7/15 +HPT 6dp5dt. 7/18 Beta #1: 193. 7/20 Beta #2: 415.
8/10 1st u/s - It's triplets!

Not too much to update. We did our maternity pics yesterday as so far the teasers look awesome. My shower is on Saturday, so I am registry stalking like crazy ??
QOTW: It is actually my bday today, and for the first time I feel like staying in and doing nothing. I told DH that I want Mexican take-out (a margarita would be sooo good too ??). I just dont feel like getting dressed today to go out. I am not making any resolutions because life is going to be chaotic enough adjusting to twins.

I have been having way more BH possibly real contractions since Friday. So I have been trying to take it easy, have my 34 week appointment Thursday. Can't believe tomorrow I can say our babies will be born this year and month
QOTW: Hanging out on the couch with my hubby and dogs tonight watching Cougar Town season 3 wishing I could be having my own bottle of wine. New Years resolution will just be to loose all the baby weight.

We lost one of the trips, but we are still so so glad we have two healthy babes. I am getting really anxious to see them dancing around in there. I'm just so afraid that I've lost another.
QOTW: I'm sure I'll be asleep by 9! I'm going to try to start taking better care of my skin again. Since I got pregnant I've been super lazy. Luckily not breakouts though.
Baby related updates: Having lots of contractions which are being managed by Procardia. Made a few trips to L&D for super painful ones but no change in cervix. My transabdominal cerclage has been the best decision ever. Baby girl is measuring smaller than her brother but has passed her NSTs and BPPs with flying colors every time. I'm going 2x a week now to my MFM. So it looks like these little ones are staying put until c-section day in 2 weeks and 2 days!
NYE plans - going to a friend's house to eat and watch the ball drop!

I'm so sorry you're having to deal with this. I hope that you can stay strong and know that He wouldn't give you anything you couldn't handle.
Have you tried that snoodle (or something) the big pregnancy body pillow?
Have an appointment Wednesday excited hopefully we find out what we are having!!!
we don't really have any New Years plans. Going to my parents for dinner and then probably just hanging out and watching movies.
No major baby updates, though we are looking forward to our next ultrasound on Wednesday of this week. There were some things they couldn't see well 4 weeks ago, so I'm hoping for good news and always enjoy having a peek at these little boys
I am feeling their movement much more frequently now - but am also realizing that some of the daily discomfort has really set in already... (24 weeks) I think my plan to move the rocker/recliner into our bedroom needs to become a reality.
QOTW: No big plans here. We have been gone a lot lately, so I'm just looking forward to an evening at home with DH and DD. Hopefully I can stay awake until midnight, but there are no guarantees! Right now I'm making chocolate chip cookies, which is the highlight of my day so far

QOTW- Hanging out with DD for NYE. I don't usually have New Years Resolutions. Loose about 15 pounds of baby weight around 1/21 lol.
Update- Nothing new. I have made it to 35 weeks! Still on bedrest for my BP. Only 3 weeks left!
Sorry I am a little late to the check in this week. I was busy yesterday and most of the day we weren't home.
QOTD: DH, DS, and I spent NYE doing what we do every year. We go to our best friends' house and have a fondue dinner. It was so delicious. We do 3 courses and my favorite is the desert course. Chocolate fondue with bananas, strawberries, and pound cake! I also had a sip of sparkling white grape juice. Didn't like it, would rather have the real thing! Not too much longer!
Update: I have had one cervical check since the last update and my cervix is very soft. Still only dialted to 2cm and seems like I have lost most if not all of the mucous plug. MFM says they can come any day now and we are basically just in a holding pattern until labor starts. I have an OB visit on Thursday and I am not sure if they will do the GBS screen or wait another week. I can't remember when they do that. I am still having tons of BH and also some incredibly painful contractions here and there but they never increase or become regular. I have almost gotten the house ready, or should I say as ready as it will get. The nesting instinct has kicked in this last week and I have been cleaning/ organizing like a crazy woman!

Hi, I have not been on in a while. I have been trying to get as much organizing and cleaning done as I can because iI am starting to get to the point of being too out of breath when I go up and down the stairs...
we do know we are having twin boys, though not sure still on identical or fraternal and will not know until they are born.
Our resolution is to stick to.our budget this year. We are boring and I had to take a 2 hour nap at 9pm just to be up at midnight...
Happy New Year everyone! We spent NYE at L & D because I had some contractions and signs of labor. They sent me home because the contractions weren't to close together and my cervix was closed.
My c/s is scheduled for Monday so it looks like I may make as I haven't had contractions since. BPP and NST were good today.
