Hello
We just found out that we are pregnant but it is never to soon to get information. I was thinking about using cloth diapers, but I do not know much about them. Most moms I have talked to are older before there was all the new stuff out there. Does any one use cloth diapers? Is there anywhere in Columbus Oh where we could go to check them out?
Thanks
Re: Diapers
Try Googling diaper services in Columbus. I seem to recall looking into this awhile back but cannot remember what I found.
I am 23 weeks along so I don't currently use cloth diapers, but there are websites dedicated to cloth diaper usage. Again, try Googling.
I might use G diapers. They are disposable, compostable or flushable. They are biodegradable and contain no plastic. They also have cloth options. Check out their website. Gdiapers.com.
Congrats!
Check out Sprout Soup on Hight St. in Clintonville, she even offer a monthly class called Cloth Diapers 101. Very informative. The Cloth Diapering Board is a great resource here on TB.
I have been using CDs from day one, we're going on 20 months now. I'd gladly answer any question you have.

We cloth diaper as well & it's going great so far. We just use prefolds & covers and it's extremely simple and cheap. I second the recommendation for Sprout Soup - they are very friendly there and have a very broad selection of cloth diapers and other cloth diapering products (like Rockin' Green, wool balls, wet bags, etc.)
They are going to have their semi-annual Sprout Swap in Feb. - you can get some lightly used diapers, covers, carriers at the swap. I was able to get a bunch of prefolds & some pocket diapers for such a deal.

Sprout Soup is great! They have a great variety of cloth diapers and the employees are really helpful! If you decide to also do disposable diapers you can sign up to do paid market research studies on diapers. I'm in Delve's database and I get called often. www.delve.com
