I took my sister in law to a couple of the 2nd hand children stores in town and we went a little girl clothes CRAZY!! But in our defense they were having $1 sales on tons of clothes in name brands. Not just onsies either entire outfits!! On top of that my hubby and my brother decided to put the crib together today. It was a hand me down so I really wanted to make sure we had all the pieces and everything was going to work. AND IT DID! So wahoo!! Babygirl has clothes and a place to sleep.....No name yet but that will hopefully come soon!!

Re: Feeling a little more prepared.
We have yet to do anything to prepare for the baby...yikes...
But our plan is now that is Jan we are going to start clearing out the room that will be Baby's and start getting the furniture.
We have our a/s next Friday and will hopefully get the bonus of knowing the sex which I think is what I'm waiting for to buy clothes and accessory type things.
my read shelf:
I got hit with anxiety this past week, we havent done anything baby related at all. So we ordered the furniture, and went and registered. The registry actually made me feel better, since now we have a list of things of I know we need, and how much they cost. I also bought the bedding I wanted on Amazon for about $50 less than the store.
And I ordered my whole infant diaper stash!
What diapers have you decided on? I ordered tiny g's for our newborn stash, but other than that I'm at a loss. I've been diaper obsessed!
I feel completely unprepared! While I've done some online research, I've not started a registry yet. We haven't ordered any furniture or purchased anything. And the room that will be the nursery is still full of "stuff" that we have to move/store elsewhere.
I think I woke up yesterday in a panic (as in - OMG - the baby will be born THIS YEAR and I'm so not ready!) So while DH was looking forward to relaxing on our day off, we ended up packing up the Christmas stuff for the year and started moving things out of the nursery. It's just a small start, but made me feel better.
First Son - born 2013
Third Son - due June 9, 2018
First comes love, next comes marriage, then comes...
Yay!
I would love to find a consignment shop here for baby things, but no luck yet.
We did get the nursery cleaned out (mostly) this week and my BIL patched the dry wall in a couple of places, so we are ready to paint.
I'm getting more stressed out about the day care situation by the day, almost to the point of paralysis. I just can't seem to get started on it, it so overwhelming.

Sorry, I dont what happened above...
Anyway, I got a mix of things that are supposed to be suitable from birth up to 15 - 18 lbs. I bought 5 Thirsties Duo wraps size 1, 2 Bummis covers newborn, 2 Bummis covers small, two Thirsties Duo AIO's, two Swaddlebees AIO's, and GMD prefolds in newborn and small (2 dozen each). Oh, and a few GMD fitteds in two sizes. A set of snappies, as well. A cloth diapering friend suggested the number of each, so I'm just going on her expertise.
