I joined dietbet last night. I follow Dr. Ian Smith on twitter and am going to try and follow his smash fat diet plan as much as possible. People seem to have really good results without starving too much!
I joined WW again. I've been active lately, but I was basically working out to eat. Changing my eating habits should make a difference. Unfortunately, I was puking all NYE night, so I am down several lbs; not really the way I want to go.

Last time I used MyFitnessPal it worked for me. So my strategy there is to just stay consistent with it. I don't like to see how much I've eaten, so as long as I'm logging I'm doing good.
Other things:
Fruit or Veggies at work o night if I want a snack.
Snacks okay at work, but only take 1 portion (5 crackers instead of a bagful)
Exercise! Sign up for Half Marathon, hopefully the training will keep me in shape

Water is key! I too try to drink at least 64 ounces a day. It helps with my skin too.

I have been sucking at the diet lately! Christmas really got in the way, but I was using my fitness pal and I had lost 4lbs, I have since gained it all back! But cutting out pop is a great strategy and apparently eating and drinking nothing, but water, after 7 at night works wonders!
I cut out soda and switched to regular coffee over frou frou drinks. I've already lost 5lbs from my weigh in less than a week ago. I don't know whether to be proud or embarrassed.

That's awesome! Way to go!

I'm not jumping on a paid diet plan. I cut out soda, less chocolate, move more, sit less, drink more water, get back into continuing to track on MFP. I lost 73lb tracking on MFP but then stopped and gained back 7lb. So now I just need to use the app again.
I am eatting breakfast, either eggs, cereal, toast w/ peanut butter. Having a healthier lunch and dinner. I am limiting how much fast food I eat (which is also saving me money) and eatting healthier snack.
I am also going to the gym any night I get off at 11pm and the gym is open. I am not gonna dwell on not going. Each time I work out I give myself the incentive of tanning. Once I am down to a specific goal I will treat myself with something else also.
Ah so glad some of you are in the dietbet with me!
So far, I am scheduling workouts just about every day, whether it be some cardio in my bedroom or going to the gym, I am also back on MFP (dlast if anyone wants to add me), tracking calories consistently, and drinking lots and lots of water. They say half of your body weight, so that is my goal each day.

It just dawned on me that I will just be starting my period when we have final weigh in....and I usually gain 3 to 5 pounds of water weight while on my period. So I am pretty screwed when it comes to final weigh in already, unless I spend two days beforehand sweating it out in a sauna. Ugh
