I was going to get the Fisher Price space saver high chair, but after reading online reviews, saw many mentions of it not fitting under the table and also not sitting upright enough for feeding.
If you have this high chair, can you please comment on whether or not you'd recommend it?
If you have some other type of space saver high chair that you'd recommend, please let me know!
Re: space saver high chair
The First Years MiSwivel is an pretty awesome chair. It cleans up easier than FP space saver and there's more recline/swivel options and it simplifies into a padded booster once the child is ready. Two height options. Ours doesn't fit under the table currently, but I think it's also on the higher setting. There's no sure guarantee that a chair it will fit under your table, because that's dependent on your table/chair setup.
Googled this and it looks AWESOME. I know it can be ordered from amazon, but just wondering where you got it?
NEW PEANUT DUE 7.2017
I'm really happy with the miSwivel and have no issues with its use other than the fact that the tray is large and doesn't fit in my dishwasher. The base is large and round for stability, but fits just fine on our unpadded wooden chairs.
I got ours from Amazon because it wasn't available in local stores, but I see now they have only the butterfly print available and I wonder if they aren't being phased out?
I just commented on your other post about the booster seat, but I also own the space saver and love that too. Depends on how you plan to use it, but I'm glad we have both. If I could only have one, I'd do the space saver, b/c that is what we use most of the time, that set up works best for our family.
I liked the space saver b/c it did recline pretty far back, so I could let/teach DD to hold & drink from her own bottle as a fairly small baby still. We don't pull this chair up the dining room table though, it stays in the kitchen where I normally feed her dinner on her own as soon as we get home from DC. Its a good height that I can sit on a chair & feed or watch her while she eats. About it sitting up straight - I never noticed that as a problem. She leans forward on her own to eat (I don't strap on the shoulder straps anymore, she sits great in the seat and doesn't try to climb out), so never seemed to be an issue. We use the booster seat at the dining room table when we do eat together as a family on weekends.
