Life has been crazy lately but now that it's occured to me that Kaeldra really is weaned now (no nursing for 4 days) I feel I should take a minute to mourn it. I know it was necessary, I had started dropping weight again and she was sleeping worse and worse. It was obviously the right choice, she slept through the night for only the second time in her life last night and is one happy baby this morning, but it's still a bit sad.

Re: Officially weaned
Whenever I'm starting to get bummed about weaning DS (we are thisclose. Just gotta drop the naptime feeding) I just remember that I will BF again when we have more kids. And how nice it will be to wear normal bras again haha. Congrats on weaning DD.
I've been wearing normal bras for about a week. So much different, but really akward when nursing.lol

Congrats, KMommy! It's bitter-sweet. Think of all the positive things, there are a few.
I actually have never bought a nursing bra. Idk. I just lift my regular bra up. Not comfy, but it got the job done.
I can imagine it's bittersweet, for sure. We are down to a few minutes of nursing before bedtime and I think that will be over within the next week or so.
The sad state of my bewbs is another story, though. I will be mourning their loss for a while. It was worth it, but they will never be the same again.

Congratulations! I know it must be bittersweet. It's slow going over here, somedays I wish he was weaned totally, other days I feel bad that I am trying to wean him.
You did great, be proud!
