What is the "bloody show"?

I have seen the term but I forget what it is. I didn't have it with DS and I think I may be having it now with this pregnancy. Is it combined with the loss of the mucus plug or is that something else.

    It can be blood mixed with mucus or straight blood just depends but you got the jist from what you said.

    I lost my MP before going into labor. Once contractions started after part of my water broke I went to the bathroom and wiped up blood. I was in like 8 mins apart contractions over the course of a few hours kind of labor at the time.

    Is it pink? red? Mine was a darkish pink.

    Mine was clear slime with blood in it. Kind of like snot with streaks of blood. Not alot just a glob of it. That was with ds. This one no loss yet.

    My bloody show was well after I lost my mucus plug. It was period like bleeding for me.
