Who made it?

Happy New Year! Now let's be honest. Who made it to midnight? I did, but barely a minute past. We toasted the new year then I hopped in bed. What did you all do?

We were the bad parents who took our daughter out in 35 degree weather to watch the fireworks from the park Embarrassed . Then, we came home and went to bed about 12:30.

I did not make it! I was sure that I would have to be up with Chloe between 2 and 4- but don't you know, last night was the first night she slept through the night!!!! She went to bed at 6:30 and didn't stir until 5:30! Great New Years' gift

Happy New Year! DH & I celebrated at home, but a few glasses of wine knocked me out & I was asleep by 10

We celebrated the New Year with DD on Greenwich Mean Time (7pm East Coast time!) while skyping with her grandparents. I got some of those blower things (which she was more interested in chewing on, of course), and a sparkly hat for her to wear. She was asleep by 8pm. I managed to make it until around 11pm, which is pretty good for me! LOL

Every year dh and I do crablegs at home and then we made chocolate fondue in the pot dh bought me for xmas! I fell asleep early but ds woke me up at 3 minues to midnight for a kiss :-)

Awesome! E slept better last night than she has in weeks, so I was happy!

We had a few friends and their kids over. By 10pm all of the kids were upstairs sleeping (ours in their cribs, theirs in pack n' plays) and we all let loose! Went to bed at 2:30am ... GO ME!

We weren't awake for midnight but did stay up later than I thought we would. We both had the day off from work so we watched some movies and then at night we watched a little bit of *** Clark's New Year's Rocking Eve followed by a mini Revenge marathon that has continued into today. I think we were in bed right around 11:00pm.

No, they put it on the Regions building downtown and it drops starting at 1 minute out from midnight. A vast improvement from its debut year in 2008, on Pinto Island, where it was supposed to rise, but at 12:10 AM, nothing had happened, rise or fall.

Not really. I'm sick, so I went to bed at 10, but then I was up several times until about 2am. I still feel terrible and being sick on ny's day is like having a hangover without the fun part.

I worked until 10, and then DH, Adalyn and I went to my brother's house to ring in the New Year with the family. We did our tradition of eating the 12 grapes (luck and 12 wishes) and a spoonful of lentils (fortune in the new year), and my cousin even made a little baggie of grapes for Adalyn! Adalyn ate a spoonful of lentils and 1/4 of a grape, so she's good to go for 2013. Smile

I actually didn't make it to bed until about 1:45am, but luckily Adalyn was an amazing baby this morning. She woke up fussing at 6:30am, but I changed her diaper, fed her a bottle, and brought her back to bed with me. We slept until 11am!

Both DS and myself are sick so it was an early night. After DS went to bed, we ordered Chinese, had a glass of wine and were both out before 11. DS woke us up just before midnight so we can say we were up to see the ball drop!
