Baby shower date?

The people planning my shower offered me two dates , feb 10th and march 3rd
my due date is march 25
I went with feb 10th because I dont want to be so big that i cant help put clothes away and stuff or set up the nursery but im worried its a little too early?

    I think it will be ok! My baby shower is planned for February 2. I am due march 14th. So I will be 34 weeks :

    I don't think that is too early at all! FWIW, I am due March 21, and my shower is February 3.
    Miscarriage in January 2012 at 8 weeks
    Subsequently diagnosed with low P4, LOR. MH DX low motility, varicocele 
    BFP in July 2012 (Gonal-f + trigger + IUI#2 (B2B) + prometrium)
    Lost Baby A prior to 7 weeks; large SCH; Baby B (Bug) was born in March 2013
    BFP June 2014; EDD February 19, 2015

    It's fine.... I had one on December 8 and have another January 26.  (EDD march 2)

    I dont think its too early.  Ours is Jan 12th but we also live 2hrs. away from both our families and thought that way i should still be able to handle the drive and enjoy the day. (we are due 3/9/2013)

    Nah. I think you're okay. I totally get your thought about wanting to make sure you're able to move around easily to get things situated. My shower is January 12th and I'm due March 13th.

    Mine is Jan 12 (my bday.. lol) and Im due March 2.. I didn't want to be all huge and miserable, I don't think your are too early at all!

    I'm also due March 25th and I'm having mine on Feb. 9th.  I was worried the shower was too late but after reading this thread, I've figured that I'm A-okay :-)

    I am due March 27th and my baby shower is February 2nd. I will be 32 weeks. Earlier is always better than later :) you picked the right date :)

    Also chiming in that I think your date is fine. My MIL mentioned a shower very early in my pregnancy and made a comment that obviously it wouldn't be for a long time because showers weren't "supposed to be until right at the end, so everyone can oo and ah over your big belly!" :D Considering the way she was talking was making me think it would be during the last weeks of pregnancy, and she's planning my (due March 21) shower for late January/early February, I think you picked a date that was just right. :D

    I'm due March 10th and the baby shower is set for January 27th.  A little early I think , BUT it sure will be nice to have everything all ready in plenty of time!

    Not too early at all! For a mid March due date I would definitely do late Jan or early Feb. just to give you time to finish shopping for things you didn't get, exchange things you didn't want, and wash the items baby will use right away. I don't know about everyone else but I sure as heck don't want to be doing that at nine months pregnant. And heaven forbid your LO comes early, then you're really screwed. I'd rather do earlier and have everything ready to go so I can relax the last month, and be prepared in case of an early surprise.

    Not too early at all!!!!!  I am due March 2nd and my shower was Dec 2nd.  I am sooo thankful my family scheduled it early as I am still picking up a few items I did not get. 

     My MIL held my SILs shower about 5 weeks before delivery and she was panic-stricken, anxious, and frusturated that she did not have the majority of her neccessities. 

     There is no such thing as too early!!!

    I'm due March 25th and having showers on Feb 2nd and and 16th. I origanally wanted my showers in Jan because I was worried they'd be to late! But, it's how it panned out.

    Mine are after - Due march 18 and we have a shower April 14, and one more in the planning. With Passover at the end of March it probably won't be until early April.
