How many naps for a 7 month old?

I'm curious how many naps your 7 mo old is taking. LO had been doing 1 longer in the morning 1.5 hours and 2 shorter ones 1 hour each. His midday one lasted longer yesterday and today... So maybe he's ready to drop the 4pm nap? What are your babies doing nap wise?

We started to drop our third around that time. Every once in a while he still takes one.

She seems to be in the process of dropping the third. It's about 50-50 right now. Some days she does two short and one longer, sometimes two long. It's not easy to predict on any given day, but she seems to be doing the two longer nap thing more and more, so hopefully soon the third will disappear completely.

Usually he takes three-9, 12 and 4 but this last week he is trying to take two around 11 then 4:30. Oh, man!

my LO isn't quite seven months yet but we are still on 3 naps... i can't imagine him making it to bedtime (which is 6:45) without his 4 o'clock nap.

LO dropped her third nap a few weeks ago. She did it herself, just all of a sudden she stopped needing a nap around that time. She takes 2 naps, the first about 2-3 hours after waking up and the another 3 hours after that.

My son will be 7 months this weekend and he is still on three naps. Like PP's, I can't imagine him making it to bedtime without his third nap. I know that will change before I know though...let's just hope when they become two they become longer!! His schedule is roughly:

Awake somewhere between 530-630AM

Daycare from 7-4ish (takes three 20-30 minute naps at DC). On weekends his naps fall around 8-9ish, 11-noonish, and 2ish. At home naps are more like1-2 hours in length if we are lucky.

In bed by 6PM.

She takes 2-3 naps. 2 if they are decent length and three if they are shorter. I think it was around 7 months that she started not always snoozing on the way home from daycare

Ugh DS takes only 1 nap per day this was the same way with DD. It drives me crazy. Most days he takes 1 nap around 11-12 and sleeps 2-3 so about 3 hours. He goes to bed around 8pm and is usually up 1-2 times per night. He is usually up for the day by 8am. He occasionally sleeps for about 10-15 minutes a few times per day in my arms.
