Madela swing pump?

I have the medela swing (backpack) pump, when using I can hear an airy sound- more than just the whinning of the pump...is this normal?

Unhook the tubing from the motor and the bottles, and then hook it back up. The tubing is likely not in position right.
If that doesn't work replace the membranes.
