Whatcha think?

The day I found out I am expecting, I tell DH and he says "That's interesting because a boy name came to me today, out of nowhere!" This is not normal for my husband at all, I feel like I am pulling teeth when I ask him to give ideas. He also never brings these things up on his own. So here it is:

Kipp Michael

What do you all think?

It's a fine name. You might want to spell th MN Michael though, just to make it easier on legal documents. Just a thought.

I'm sorry, but it reminds me of the brother on Napoleon Dynamite.

I strongly dislike it, but I could maybe see Kip as a MN.

I've tried, the best I've come up with so far is Kipley or Kipson. Not a fan of either. I'm open to suggestions, I like it as a nn. Have to convince DH though...

I think Kipp is a dog name, I think there's a childrens book about Kipp the dog... or a cartoon.

It would be a better NN IMO,  if you can figure out what name it would be for.

    It's a NN for Christopher.

I think it's called Kipper Lol. It is a shorter, simpler name. I was thrown off at first, but it's kind of growing on me. It's cute.

Kip sounds like more of a nickname than a full name for me.  I wouldn't worry too much about using a full name starting with Kip, it could really work as a nickname for any name (like Buddy or Skip)

It sounds like a nn to me. The only full name I've ever heard with Kip in it is Kiptyn. He was on The Bachelor a few years ago, I believe. I don't mind it.

This. Definitely more of a nn for me. Plus, I went to school with a guy named Mich.ael Ki.pp, so that makes it even stranger for me.

I know a Kip. That's his full first name, but I've also heard of Kipper. It grows on you- don't let people steer you away if you like it. I've grown fond of the Kip we know and don't dislike his name at all or associate it with weird things lol
