nickname for Ingrid

dd was just born on the 21st and we named her Ingrid Elise. wondering if there are any good nicknames?  I feel like she still needs to grow into her name

    Congrats! I LOVE the name Ingrid.

    The first that come to mind are Ing or Inga. May be a stretch, but using the G sound you could do Gida, or Gigi or something?

    Or she may be Ingrid and any NNs she has will be more like pet names. I think it's totally fine if she's "just" Ingrid.

    Congrats and beautiful name!  Just call her Ingrid until a nickname naturally arises.  It's a lovely name.

    I agree, no nn needed!  I went to school with an Ingrid, and she went by Inky as a child. As a grown up , she is strictly Ingrid.

    I like her name a lot!  The only one I can think of is Ing.
