Plenty of people bypass their EDD. It doesn't mean anything, it's just an average in the middle of what normal human gestation typically spans (38-42 weeks). Try not to fixate on the date. Your LO will be here very soon and you'll forget all about the long wait
I'm not currently overdue (still have quite a ways to go!) but last time I went to 42 weeks. I HATED the phone calls, texts, facebook posts that were constantly asking me if I had the baby yet. No, I told you yesterday, the day before, and the day before that that I would post/update/call if the baby came.
The best words of comfort I found in those last two weeks was someone who reminded me that I wouldn't be pregnant forever, even though I felt like I would be. How much you have left in comparison to what you've done is very small!

Thanks everyone for the supporting comments they did make me feel better! And yes to what PP said, I HATE the phone calls and questions about baby being here yet lol. Oh well I guess it comes with the territory!
Still no sign of her coming on her own any time soon.
I've been 1cm and contracting since I hit 37 weeks....I'm ready for some relief! I always knew I could go late, but I never thought I'd go this late and have a 2013 baby!
