Saw my little bean today!

Or as my DB likes to say, our little gray blob.
I have to say this is the first day it actually feels real now. I was in a bit of denial and shock but after having my first ultrasound today, I feel like I can start to get excited now.
I thought I was 8w4d but measured at exactly 8w today. Bringing my new due date from the 8th to the 12th! Heartbeat was a strong 163 and the baby is measuring right on track. She said I will have another ultrasound around 11/12w and then 18/20w when we will be able to find out the gender!

It really is. I had trouble seeing it, I was just staring at the screen wondering what everything I was seeing was. But DB saw it clearly so as long as one of us did I'm very happy.
