  Even if they weren't hurting but following the 511 rule I would call.

  I would call and ask before going in. My dr says its really a 5.1.2 rule for first time moms and says drink a glass of water and take a shower, if your contractions don't stop then call. Good luck!

  With DD, I was 3 min apart, 1 min long for 2 hours. I was still sent back home from L&D since I didn't progress (I had been 2 cm and 80% effaced for two weeks). It was incredibly frustrating but I ended up in actual labor that evening (they definitely hurt by then). I hope the best for you!!

  Thanks girls! They eventually slowed down and stopped. Bugger just played a New Years prank on us or something. Needless to say the baby to do list is being completed TODAY. Next time!
