Crawling out from under my rock.
I mean, ahem.
Climbing out of my DeLorean.
The husband and I are trying to figure out if getting smartphones with a data plan will be in any way logical or feasible for us.
I need you to be my research, guys. I can't go traipsing around internet-land trying to figure out what all this nonsense costs.
Please tell me about your plan. Cost, features, etc. Not as concerned about which phone right now, but if you want to tell me about that, too, I'm all ears!
Re: nbr: school me on your smartphone plans
We have Verizon and pay $150 a month for the following:
- Unlimited voice and text
- 2gigs shared data (the lowest they offer, never come close to using it all and we both use our phones A LOT)
- 4G LTE (not sure if that matters)
- Full insurance on both phones
We have iPhone 5s and absolutely love them.
Proud Mama to cleft cutie
I love Sprint, FWIW. I've been with them for five years. I had Tmobile for a year and hated it. Sprint has awesome customer service and I've never had an issue. Whatever I need is taken care of as soon as I call. We get pretty good service, but we live right outside of Detroit, so there are TONS of towers. You can look up the tower map for whoever you decide to go with.
SCANDAL!
Im not too sure about every single detail with our plan. We have AT&T and we get 450 min, free mobile to mobile talk time, unlimited text, unlimited data (4G), and my DH has insurance on his phone but I do not. We pay 145 a month. We both have the Galaxy Note.
We have this but unlimited data for our iPhones. And pay around 175. I love Verizon. I've gotten maybe one dropped call in the past 5 years and the reception is great.
When I first got my smartphone I hardly used my computer anymore. I still rarely use it unless I have pictures to transfer from my camera or work stuff to do. My iPhone was great in keeping me in touch with the world those first 6 weeks PP when I was glued to the couch with DS.
Ditto this but 130 a month cause we don't have the insurance. Love our iPhones!
