Any New Year's Plans?

Is anyone doing anything fun or exciting this evening? We are going to town today to buy some things we need and have a nice breakfast. Other than that we will be staying home all day. I really don't want to be on the road with the drunks (which there seem to be a lot of around here) and one of my dogs will run away at the sound of fireworks. Given that, we feel a nice quiet evening home is in order!

    My only exciting plan is to finally get the Christmas tree put up (between travel to my parents for Christmas eve/morning we've all been sick and the tree was the LAST thing on our minds)..  From there anything is bonus...

    ETA: Didn't get the tree up but instead got sweet rolls made, so I guess there's a trade-off...

    We went for a coffee earlier and I'm making Spanish food tonight. DS2 kept us up last night so I'm not sure we'll make it till midnight.

    Just got back from NYE party at indoor playground, kids are passed out, enjoying a glass of wine with shrimp cocktail.  Hope to make to midnight. :-)
