What food should I serve at my daughters 2nd birthday at an indoor play center. We have the place for a private party for 2hrs and are allowed to bring in any food we want but I'm at a loss. What have/did you serve at your child's birthday. Again this is at a play center not our home and I'm not a big fan of pizza because DD isn't. TIA for your ideas!
Re: Birthday party, food at a play place?
What time of day are you having the party? If it's lunch or non-meal time, maybe fruit/veggie/cheese trays and some finger sandwiches? If it's closer to dinner, maybe some trays of pasta (buttered, mac and cheese, and something for adults) and some salad and bread?
Pat and Oscars could be good too- you can get salads, chicken, breadsticks, pasta in addition to pizza so there are plenty of options.
I would do pretzel nugget tray or fruit tray.
What about a Chick-fil-a tray?

I just had my DS' bday party last month - we brought the crock pot filled with meatballs, we bought sternos and served baked ziti and had a side of rolls if people wanted to make sandwiches with the meatballs instead - parm cheese and one large tray of fresh fruit (melon and grapes) and one large tray of raw veggies (broccoli and carrots with ranch dip). I had 3 bowls out : smores goldfish/ chexmix/ pretzels and that was it - it was more than enough food and everyone ate (15adults and 15kids)
