u/s update :) and ? about hemorrhages

LO is measuring right on track and had a beautiful HB of 158 bpm. The doc did say I had a small hemorrhage (5 x 4 mm) near the gestational sac but said it wasn't anything to worry about. Anyone have any extra info they'd like to share about hemorrhages? I know the doctor said not to worry but part of my brain says bleeding near baby = bad...

    Congrats! I had an sch for about 3 weeks and I just was cautious bout my activity. Lots of girls have them on here. Just try to take it extra easy.

    Congrats on a great ultrasound!! I don't have experience with a sch, but I've seen lots of ladies here have them and still have great outcomes.

    I also have one, but it is larger 1 in x 2 in. I wouldn't worry too much about it, yours sounds very small. I think because mine is bigger we were given a 15 chance of miscarriage. I have not had any bleeding and md didn't recommend any restrictions. Best wishes...sounds like things are great!

    I had a small one on my 6w6d ultrasound, but by 11wk1d it was gone. I was told just to take it easy. They can reabsorb and go away on their own. I didn't have any bleeding with that, though I did have cramping (unsure if related or not).

    Congrats on a nice heartbeat!!! :)

    I was diagnosed with an SCH at my 6w3d U/S and it is/was reasonably large. I had had bright red spotting for 3 days the week prior, and then nothing since. 

    I was recommended as much rest as I could take, no exercise, no heavy lifting, and pelvic rest.

    Hoping to see it gone, or at least reduced, on our next scan in 2 weeks.

    Congrats CG! I never really even lurk over here but I've been procrastinating the last couple days and I'm so glad I was. I'm so happy baby is measuring on track with a good hb. I would try not to worry about the SCH, which I know is hard to do. It sounds like you haven't had any external bleeding which is good. I actually had one that was .5cm (so about what you have) with bleeding and still heard mostly good stories even with bleeding and here I am at 33 weeks. Best wishes on a great 9 months!
