Ohhh... WTF?!

15 minutes and the broccoli still isn't boiling.  I go check on it and I never turned the burner on.

I guess that is a sign I am not feeling so hot today.

    LOL. I've done this before. Once I "baked" a cake for 40 minutes before I realized I never turned the oven on. I kept looking at it through the over glass thinking, "what the hell..why isn't it rising?" and going back and checking my ingredients that I added everything. DH never lets me forget it.

    Thanks!  I thought I was okay, then ran 3 miles and felt like I had no energy and am ready for bed.  Awesome.  Only 2 more hours until DH gets home.

    That sucks!  I've often forgot to turn off a burner after removing the pot.
