Ovidrel Question, BFP or false positive?

I have been using Letrazole with an hCG trigger x4 months now.  This cycle was the first time we did IUI.  I am a compulsive POAS girl, but told myself I would wait 2 weeks to test.  Well, I must be weak because I just tested...I am 9 dpiui, but 11 days from the trigger (IUI 36 hrs after).  I had a FAINT BFP today, but hadn't tested prior to this to test out the trigger shot.  

 

Any thoughts?  I feel like I'm just getting my hopes up.

    I have always been told that a positive is a positive. If i were you, i would call my dr... And its always smart not to get your hopes up on something this big. Good luck to you!!!! Prayers for another positive test sent your way!

    No thoughts as I don't trigger - but next time (or edit the title now) please put a warning about the BFP in the title...talk about BFPs can be hard for some ladies to read on certain days, and if they see a BFP in the title, they can skip over it...

    50mg Clomid + trigger + IUI = BFP (one cycle)
    Beta #1 (12dpo) = 49  Beta #2 (14dpo)= 149

    Agreed.....however 11dpt could be a BFP or still the trigger. Some women metabolize the trigger very slowly so without having tested it out its hard to say for sure. GL!

    My trigger (Ovidrel) was usually out of my system by 7 or 8 dpo but I know a lot of gals have been told by their doctors that it takes 10 days or more.  I hope this is an early positive for you!  A new year's baby would be awesome.  I told myself I'm going to wait it out this month cause I always cave.

    It could be either. I've had triggers out in 3 days and 12+ days so you're kind of at the awkward in between stage. I would keep testing. If it gets darker it's a bfp. If it's lighter then it is probably your trigger.

    I would keep testing, if it gets darker: most likely you're pregnant. 
    Me: 32, DH: 34.
    Trying since Jan 2011. Unexplained IF.
    2 IUIs = BFN.
    1 IVF (Dec 2013) = BFN.
    FET, 2 frosties (June 13, 2014)

    14dp5dt-June 27 -BFP, beta 2061. 2nd beta >5000, 3rd beta >5000, 2 sacs 06/30.
    Twin Girls - 02/11/15 - at 37 weeks (no NICU, home with me at 3 days).

    I tested a few days after my ovidrel to see if it would show on a hpt, but I got a negative, so my assumption would be that the ovidrel would be out of your system already.  *crosses fingers and some BD to you*

    So I tested again this morning.... still a faint positive, but it looked lighter than yesterday.  I thought it would be gone this afternoon, but it is still there and darker than this morning.  I have no idea!  I guess I will just have to wait it out....
