Cloth Diapering

Favorite rash cream

We have CJ's butter and it has never failed me until now. DS pooped about 5 times saturday and his booty has been red since. The CJ's isnt helping so I tried Desitin with liners and that hasnt helped much either. Im looking for a good CD safe cream so please share your favorites with me.

  • I know many people swear by coconut oil.

  • Grovia Magic Stick. It's been a lifesaver for us!

  • Haven't tried coconut oil, but I swear by Earth Mama Angel Baby.  That stuff is amazing.  Worked on a rash that Desitin, Bordeaux's and Burt's Bees couldn't clear.  Plus it doesn't bother my sensitive skinned LO like Desitin did.

  • another vote for Grovia Magic Stick.

Grandma El's for when the redness gets really stubborn, but it's a good idea to use sposies or liners with Grandma El's.

  • I too used CJs BUTTer without fail, and then after about 6 months it just stopped performing for me and definitely didn't do well with more major rashes.

My favourites is hands down Grandma El's. I've also had a lot of success with good ol coconut oil :)

I love the Earth Mama Angel Baby Bottom Balm. Works great on DS! Waaaaaaay better than the penaten we used when he was born which made his rashes worse.

These are my go to's as well. I also find that a baking soda bath is really great if DD has had a lot of redness from poop.

Just started using coconut oil as my son has had a nasty rash for about a week now.  Within two days I have seen a marked improvement.  Not to mention I love the smell.
