Trying to Get Pregnant

Yes, you guessed right, it's another Intro

Hi ladies,

I've been a lurker for a couple months and decided to finally convert my knot account to a bump account. My husband and I have been married a little less than a year and half. We decided last December that we would TTC starting 2013. We are excited to start a family. I'm excited but nervous. I'm a major planner and it difficult for me to let go and just let things "happen".

I got off bc pill in July, so I could give my body plenty of time to get back into its natural rhythm. This past cycle was the first I used to opk and monitored cm to better understand my cycle. I think I'll start temping if I'm not pregnant in a few cycles( I just know I will get obsessed/stressed out).

  • Welcome and good luck to you! I started temping my 2nd cycle and it's also the same cycle that my body started doing weird things and my cycles starting getting really long. So I don't have to guess if I'm pregnant or not...I just know that I'm not. I would highly recommend temping!

  • Welcome and good luck! I'm a planner too, and I think temping is helping because I can see what's going on with my body and obsess a little less.

    Welcome!

I know you're worried that temping with stress you out, but let me warn you, you'll probably be more stressed without temping when you aren't sure when/if you ovulated and if your period is late. I know it seems like it's a lot of work, but it's not, and it's worth it to know what your body is doing.

    Good luck!

I second this. It's better to have the charts and learn about what your body is doing each month. Welcome and good luck!

  • Welcome and good luck.
  • Thank you all for the warm welcome. I think I'll start temping sooner now
