LO's first cold.

My LO has his first cold. It seemed to start after his shots on Thursday. He started out with some congestion, a little cough and now had a raspy voice. I've been clearing his nose with the bulb sucker and saline drops.

Is there anything else I can do?

    We've been battling this on and off since starting daycare.

    Keep his nose clear, keep him upright as much as possible, humidifier at night, sit in the steam with him for 15 minutes a few times a day to loosen up the congestion.

    Sorry, mama.  Sick babies are no fun.

    Everything poppy said. Make sure to keep a watch on the raspy voice and listen for an unusual sounding cough. DS developed croup at 6 weeks and the funny sounding cough is why I took him in.

    Also, our LOs are old enough for baby vicks on the feet. I havent used it but I thought id throw it out there for ya.

    Hang in there, I know it can be tough!
