I cannot believe how big of a fail his gifts were this year...
cheap christmas tupperware (our apartment's kitchen is too small for more stuff), a toaster, a quilt pattern (just the pattern, not even the material to make it or anything, and I don't quilt), and a polo short sleeved sweater (we live in WI, all sweaters should be long sleeved!)..
How about we all laugh at the crappy gifts we've gotten from our men?
Re: Sometimes men suck at Christmas...
I didn't get anything.
But I really can't be mad since I went out and bought a hair dryer last month. And I know that sounds funny, but I really needed a new one and it's actually salon quality. So it wasn't cheap. Plus, for once my hair feels and looks like I just came from a salon after I dry it!
That being said, I fully intend to take advantage of the after holidays sales and get some new sweaters and a new skirt for work.
i told my husband to get me gift cards to my fav clothes stores (since baby my hips are bigger and need all new bottoms) dh knows i need new clothes so he says ok. he got me target, h&m, kohls which are great! except he only got $25 on each one...what is that going to buy me?!? we are comfy financially so im thinking he has no idea what decent clothes cost....i do his shopping...
DH got me two little pendants with handprints on them, one with a tiny "pearl" and one with a tiny garnet - our two boys' birthstones. In theory it sounds nice, and that's what he thought when he ordered them on Amazon...
... only they look like they came out of a gumball machine. and they are 100% not my style AT ALL. He even said he knows they look tacky but he couldn't find what I had described before (a bezel set garnet that can sit next to my black pearl on a chain). anyway he didn't totally fail as that was only part of his gift to me, but they were pretty heinous. And I wore them on Christmas just because and the "pearl" already fell out! I have no idea where it is. I think we'll send them back to Amazon. yikes.
