DH just asked me what I want to do tomorrow night. I said "get a good night's sleep". I feel like such a loser.
Someone tell me about your exciting NYE plan so that I can at least live vicariously through you.

We normally stay home, but this year, we are going out!
Tonight we are having a romantic dinner at the same place DH proposed to me.
Then-- we have VIP passes (no standing in line and free champagne) to a hot night club downtown. VERY excited!!
We are hosting a small "family friendly" party at our house. Invited 4 other couples with kids. We do this pretty much every year and it has calmed down quite a bit in the recent years (I like it much better this way).
Everybody is bringing snacks, there will be small children running around, kid friendly movies in the front room, the count down on TV for the adults, and when the little ones go to sleep in PnPs and makeshift beds the adults will bust out the board games.
Although, I left my house a complete wreck this morning with promises from DH that he would clean it. It will probably be gross, but I am too tired and sore to care.
Jasha - Nice to see you on the board! I will be thinking about you around midnight... realizing that this will be my life so soon.
Ladies will be sleeping... I will be thinking about you too, cause I'm pretty sure I will want to be sleeping instead. LOL
Eeome- You have the best social life, at least that is what I think!
We are a little sad this year....we used to host a huge NYE bash for four years running, up until last year when I had to request that my siblings host at my parents' house. But this year they're not having a party at all, because some of them are going to Atlantic City. DH and I tried to make some dinner plans, and even got a sitter, but we couldn't get reservations anywhere we want to eat. So....no plans!
I think we're going to order a takeout smorgasbord from our fave local pizza place. So we will dine on cheese steak strombolis and wings and pizza fries, and hopefully I can stay awake till midnight. I feel old! LOL!
Thanks! Its good to be back. I think things are finally settling down and I will a some time to be around again. Fingers crossed for you that you get lots of sleep once your little man arrives!
I can barely keep my eyes open after 8pm...
MIL wants me to watch 9yo. BIL so she can go out and party.. but I just don't have any energy.
I promise....my "social life" is very random and pretty non-existent for the most part. lol
She afraid you'll trash her place or something? lol
It's 9:45, and I'm just playing on the computer while DH is watching some comedy show on TV. I don't see us lasting til midnight.
