Just went off pill

Hello! So my husband and I are ttc, I finished my bc pack and had my period. I am now two weeks late and took two pregnancy tests after a week late both negative. Any ideas? Does it just take a while to get back to normal after going off the pill?

    It can, yes.

    I went off Sprintec in August. My first cycle off was 44 days. The next cycle was 49 days. Today is day 52 and still waiting. Hopefully this one doesn't come. But I definitely know how you feel.

    It can take some ladies quite a bit of time to regulate their hormones after stopping the pill. Just keep trying and hopefully you will have a BFP soon :)

    Did you track ovulation in any way when your cycles are so long? Should I be temping and what not?

    I have yet to have a period after stopping BCP at end end of June (I was on them for ten years)! So, hang in there. Everyone's body is different and takes a different amount of time to get regulated. Good luck.

    Oh yes it can take some time for your body to readjust. I was regular before I was on the pill for 5 years and just had my first cycle off that was 41 days long. I'm hoping this new cycle is closer to 35 but we'll see. One of the PPs suggested FertilityFriend.com and I would also recommend that site. I started temping and tracking with the first off-pill cycle and FF helps me figure out what's going on in there.

    Thank you makes me feel much better at least there are others in this boat. First time trying so its all still so new to me! Trying fertility friend hopefully that will help!
