Hey Rawr! I hope your pup heals up. Poor thing!
Hey Wicked - we're looking into adoption too, I feel like a total noob, I know nothing. We're requesting info packets from some local agencies.
Not much new with me, I really don't have a f'ing clue what we're doing. We can't get in to see our RE for a few more weeks to talk about donor eggs, we might do that, we might still try IVF but I'm scared to death that my response will be crap and we'll spend a bunch of money for nothing. So we're looking into adoption in the meantime. We're in a bit of a weird limbo.
Xmas was pretty lame. My mom drove me bonkers and cried about her sister who passed away about a year ago. DH cried over Harrison. I just drank mostly, once my temp dropped and I knew this cycle was a bust. So, good times!

January PAL Siggy Challenge: Good Advice
Rawr - I'm so glad to hear that things are getting back to normal for you. I hope your fursister heals quickly.
Wicked - I'm so excited for you. I hope you get a lot of great information and are able to start the process soon after.
Boots - (((Hugs))) trying to make these kinds of life choices is so overwhelming. I hope you are able to determine what is best for you soon.
Christmas was really nice and low key. I have a huge family so being able to say that is awesome! NYE will we will all have dinner at one of my brothers house then we will all meet at my house to ring in the new year with fondue and lots of bubbly.
My update: We finally got all our labs done on the 19th. There was a lot of confusion in the beginning of this IVF because they thought they had placed me with a nurse and they hadn't. Then all of labs we thought we didn't have to do actually expired in October so we had to have them done all over again.
The nurse called me on Friday to let me know they have received all of our lab work back and the Dr wanted to schedule a phone consult that afternoon. I couldn't get away from work though so now we have to wait til the 7th. Hopefully I will have my calendar shortly after that. I am hoping for a February ET.
RAWR- hope your furbaby heals up quickly!
Wicked- Yea!!! So excited for you and your new journey!
Boots- GL figuring out what the next step is for you and YH. Sorry the holidays were a little rough.
KG- Hope your lab results come back ok- keep us updated!
Update: Not much to update. We TTC this cycle but only had one good day of timing due to both DH and myself being sick. I've been pushing off my last test on my esophagus so we could TTC a couple of cycles, but I'm pretty miserable and in pain so I will be calling on Wednesday to reschedule it.
It's a test where they stick a catheter through my nostrils and down my throat- awake- and then observe me swallowing to check the integrity of my esophageal muscles. I already tried it once awake and they couldn't get it past my nostrils and it hurt pretty bad. Next step is to put me to sleep and insert the catheter, then wake me up to do the swallowing part. Yuck.
Rawr: I hope your fursister recovers soon! Yay for AF getting back on track!
Wicked: I'm so excited for you as you get the adoption process started!
Boots: I'm sorry about the holidays.(((hugs))
KSG2003: Fx for this IVF cycle!
Buckeyebaby: I hope your tests for you esophagus goes well. Fx they figure out whats going on.
mlal: I'm glad your tests came back good!
I dont have much to update. My lap/hysteroscopy is Friday so I'm ready to get that over with. I'm dreading t but I know its necessary.

***PGAL/PAL WELCOME***
Rawr - I'm glad things have settled down for you. You deserve a break from stress!
Wicked - Jan. 9 isn't too terribly far away! I can't wait to find out what you learn.
Boots - I'm so sorry you have to be here and that Christmas was so lame. I hope your IVF cycle is the one and that you will be well on your way to your rainbow soon.
KGS - As always, I'm pulling for you and your upcoming cycle! I'm so sorry you got jerked around with getting a nurse and timely results. I hope the calendar works well for you.
BEB - I hope you get a sticky bfp first and foremost, but if you go ahead with the test on your esophagus, I hope it goes really smoothly and gives you helpful answers. I hate that you are so uncomfortable.
mlal - I'm glad you have a plan for that next bfp and I hope it comes quickly!
EK - I hope your lap goes really smoothly and that it helps you get well on your way to having your rainbow really soon.
[bfp and sig warning]
My update is that Femara seemed to work in that I did get a bfp just a couple of days before the first anniversary of my first EDD. Betas were good and now I wait for that first ultrasound.
I plan to continue posting here to support each and every one of and won't be talking any further about my bfp unless the worst happens and I have to come back. I hope that is ok with you all. I just can't not reply to some of the posts here.
I'm rooting for you all as much as ever and I hope 2013 brings you the best of news!!

mla78- good luck this next cycle
EK- Good luck with your lap/hysteroscopy, I hope it's smooth and painless for you.
Hungryhippo- This made my night! Congrats!!
As far as an update..well, I guess I don't have one M and I haven't pretty much stopped thinking about TTC or TTA all together and are focusing on all the other parts of our lives. I guess you could say we're TTAish as we use condoms during my "ovulation" window, but I'm not temping anymore, so we obviously can't be sure.
I have three classes and my capstone left in my Master's so I'll be done by this time next year. I plan to apply to be an adjunct professor after graduation, so I'll be doing what I can to make that happen this year!
Carseat and I are also planning february IVFs, we can all be cycle buddies! At least, I'm tentatively planning that, pending the next consult with my RE.

January PAL Siggy Challenge: Good Advice
Hi ladies!
Rawr: Hooray for AF returning to some kind of normal! I hope your fursister makes a speedy recovery (I've had a bulging disc, myself, so I know it really sucks).
Wicked: I'm so excited for you starting the adoption process!
Boots: That's a lot of tough decisions and soul-searching going on. ((hugs)) I'm sorry your Christmas was lame.
KGS: Hooray for getting your labs done! A February FET would be lovely.
BEB: Good luck on your testing... Just thinking about that makes me feel a little gaggy. I hope they find some answers for you.
mlal: I'm glad your tests came back good! Hopefully the heparin will do the trick next time.
EKGibs: I hope your lap goes well. I'll be thinking happy, healing thoughts for you. That sh!t is uncomfortable, and I'm sorry you have to do it again.
hungryhippo: HOORAY! Now get yourself to PGAL and stay over there!
millejj1: I'll bet it's nice to be so close to being done with school! I'm planning on going back in August, and I'm dreading it.
As for me, DH and I are TTC on our own for at least this cycle, and are trying to decide when we'll be returning to the RE for medicated cycles. DH wants to go back next cycle, but I kind of want to wait until March or April, so we can get our finances back in order.
Also, we decided a long time ago that IUI is the furthest we're willing to go at this point, and if that doesn't work we'll be looking into adoption. But we're at least two years away from being ready to start the adoption process, which makes me not want to come to the end of our TTC road so quickly.
I've been around for a few months, but I always seem to miss the Wine and Cheese Parties!
Rawr- Glad to hear things are going back to normal! FX your fursibling gets better soon too.
Wicked- It is so exciting that you are moving forward with adoption. I hope you get some valuable information.
Boots- I hope you are able to work out a plan soon. It's so hard to plan and prepare for something when there are so many unknown variables.
KGS- I hope you get good news on your labs and can move forward as scheduled.
BEB- Good luck with your test. It does not sound pleasant at all, but hopefully it will yield some answers.
mlal- Glad to hear that all your tests came back normal, but I hated to hear that your family had been hit by the dreaded plague. It always seems like illness has a way of seeking out a FW to fluck up!
EK- I hope all goes well on your lap this week.
HH- Congrats! I hope this is it for you!
mille- Way to go on all your hard work for grad school! This next year will fly by!
As for me, I'm starting progesterone and estrogen tomorrow for my 2ww. I am also planning to call another clinic this week, to set up an IVF consult and get a second opinion. J has been wavering as to whether we should jump right in to IVF, or if we should try an IUI injects first. I need to get some answers as to IUI to IVF conversion if I over stim. Also, anyone know where I can get my hands on that elusive IF money tree?

Rawr: Poor thing! I hope she recovers quickly! And I hope AF keeps herself in check and gets her sh?t together!
Wicked: Exciting! Can't wait to hear how the info. night goes!
Boots: I hate limbo - so frustrating! I'm sorry your Christmas was less than stellar
KGS: Your NYE plans sounded fun - I hope you had a good time! What a PITA with your lab stuff. I hope everything goes smoothly from here on out.
Buckeye: That does not sound fun. I hope being asleep makes it easier. Do you know when it will be rescheduled for?
mlal: GL with getting back on the TTC train. Hopefully heparin will be the trick!
EK: GL with your surgery! I hope they get out all the ickies and that you have a quick recovery!
HH: Yay!! FX x a million for you!
Millie: Good job on that Master's. You will be so relieved when it is over. I would really like to get into teaching at the college level, too. GL pursuing your dream job!
lovelanie: DH and I are in a similar position. We'll probably go back to IUIs at some point, but I don't know yet how many more we'll do, or whether we'll go farther than that or not. FX that another IUI will be successful for you!
Tex: I have no advice on the IUI/IVF front, but I am really pulling for some success for you, and soon!
As for me, not much happening. DH and I need to have a long talk about whether or not we want to go back to IUIs, now that pretty much everything that can be tested has been and nothing's turning up. That risk scares me, but not as much as continuing to do nothing. Right now we're "TTC" on our own, but I don't really have much faith left in the endeavor :P
(((HUGS))) ladies.
TTC since March 2010 ~ Dx Unexplained IF September 2011
2011: IUI + Clomid = CP#1
2012: 3 more IUIs + Clomid = 3 more CPs. One on-our-own pg, also CP
2013: BTB IUI + Lupron/Follistim/Prometrium/PIO = CP #6
IF testing, RPL testing, Autoimmune testing = all normal
So lost.
