Weight gain?

How is everyone's LO gaining weight?

My LO was born 35weeks and at 5lbs 13oz

Now at 12 weeks he's 12 lbs 10oz...

Just worried he's gaining so much quickly but pedi said at 2 month appt he wanted him to gain a lot of weight just worried about him I guess :

    To OP, I WISH my LO gained weight like that!  DS was IUGR, and only 2 lbs. 9 oz. at birth (32 weeks).  

    My DS is now 10.5 months (8.5 adjusted), and only about 16 lbs.  He eats really well too, and does gain on average a half to 3/4 of a pound a month, but he is super active now so I think getting any kind of real fat on him will be a struggle still.  I keep hoping he will chunk up one of these days!  

    If you are concerned at all though, I would definitely talk to your pedi.

    DDs month by month gain is in my siggy. She's just little by nature, though. She's not yet 22 lbs at 2 years. Tiny but healthy.

    My little guy was born at 33 weeks 1 day 4 lbs 1 oz. When we had him at the pedi last week for a shot, he weighed in at 17 lbs 6 oz. At only 26 inches, he's a round little/big guy :

    My oldest DD gained weight slower than her baby sister. Baby sister started gaining about 2 weeks after she was born and hasn't looked back. She was the preemie formula until 2 months old. She is now 9 months old and 20lbs even (a big girl!).

    My little guy had IUGR and was born at 34 weeks weighing 3 lbs 10 oz and 16.5 inches. At 9 weeks he was 8 lbs and 19.5 inches. He starting to chunk up and I am so glad! He eats great and I EBF.
