Okay so I am so uncomfortable that I am near tears every night. I can't get comfy when sleeping and am actually in so much pain just moving around the house and especially at night. I don't know how I am going to make it 2-3 more weeks! My nesting instinct has kicked in full force so I am probably doing more than I should around the house, but I am in so much pain even just walking to the bathroom. Oh and a new problem is that when I am walking, my belly hangs so low that it touches the highest part of my thighs. Oh joy! I am so grateful that I have made it this far and would appreciate and words of advice or encouragement to make it another couple weeks. Not like I have a choice anyways!

Re: Tips on making it in these last few weeks needed
I am right there with you... except I end up in tears most days. I am not comfortable in bed, sitting, standing, or any position - what works best is rotating between them all because otherwise my hips and pubic bone get stiff and the pain is unreal. The recliner that we have was amazing until I 'dropped' almost 2 weeks ago... now it is just another place to rotate to.
You can do it and each day they stay in is a blessing (I need to listen to myself because it is so easy to say but hard to see sometimes).
I also try to rotate positions as much as possible. I can sleep slightly propped up on my side with a pillow wedged under my belly and another between my legs, but I have to turn from side to side and move to the recliner at some point when my hips can't handle it. Long hot showers and back rubs from DH have also helped me, but the biggest thing I have found is taking it easy. If I do too much during the day I am up all night miserable and having contractions.
Feel better! It will all be worth it in the end!

I'm going to sound awful but, the good news is that you can wish them out now. If they were to be born in the next two hours, they would be fine. They really would. Take care of you. I loved long warm showers and being propped up in my comfy bed on three or four pillows with my air conditioner down low and my heating pad on my lower back.
These are the last few days/week that you have to yourself. The second the babies are born you will feel like a new person-I promise.
I was big and pregnant in the summer so finding a pool was easier, but if you can manage to talk a hotel into letting you use one or something like that, I found that swimming helped a lot with my back pain. Gets the weight off. Other then that soak up the nesting. Make stuff for their nursery, put away their clothes and take lots of pictures of everything so they can see what their nursery looked like when their older. It'll help the time pass. Nesting is so much harder when they're here, there's no time. Not to mention doing baby laundry gets old fast when you're doing 1-2 loads a day.

My hospital has a therapy pool, which I discovered at about 35 weeks. Honestly, it was more trouble than it was worth to get myself there (parked in a garage and had to walk in, shower before and after, etc.) but the 30 minutes I was in the pool were probably the most relief I had during my last trimester.
Hang in there! You are doing great!
