Food Processer for Baby

I looked around and didn?t see a previous post about this.

I?d like to start pureeing my daughters baby food and have been debating between the Baby Bullet, Beaba Babycook and Baby Brezza. I know I could just use a steam basket and food processor but I think a specific baby gadget will make the process faster and easier.

After lots of research it looks like people have a love/hate relationship with these gadgets.

Does anyone here have any experience with them? Any recommendations?

Thanks!

  • I don't have any of those but I just use a good old blender. Works really well and a plus was I already had it so no extra cost! I also use a rice cooker to steam the food before blending it. My theory was to buy stuff I could reuse when my kids weren't babies anymore.

  • From what I understand the Baby Bullet doesn't steam so you'd still have to do it seperately.
  • I was given the baby bullet for a shower gift.  It doesn't steam, but I like it anyways.  I want to bake as much stuff as I can rather than steam.  To me it tastes better.

  • I have a Baby Bullet, but so far I've just opened it and washed all the parts.  I'm going to give it a shot this weekend.  I wrote a post the other day about maybe needing more storage cups and a lot of responders said they were just using their blenders and food processors and ice trays.  I don't think you need a baby-specific blender.

  • I wouldn't waste my money on an specialty appliance market for a specific task. It probably wont work as well or last as long as a regular blender or food processor. If you aren't making food in batches to freeze a fork works nicely :)
  • I would just use our food processor or blender, but DH thought that since we make all kinds of spicy food in those it might be better to have a dedicated one for the baby for now.  Someone gave us a baby bullet, and it works just fine, no complaints.

  • I have the baby bullet and love it! I received it as a gift though but I think its cheaper than the other two you listed? Anyways I've made a lot of stuff with it so far and it works so good, I'm really happy I got it.

  • Hi, I highly recommend the Baby Brezza. It is the best baby food processor because of its one step convenience. It's so simple to use because you just put your raw food in, push a couple of buttons, and wait for freshly pureed baby food. The unit will automatically steam the food then blend it for you. No transferring food or waiting for a timer (then forgetting what you were doing and leaving your steamed food in the unit for hours).

If you don't want to blend and steam, you can simply steam or puree only. The Baby Brezza can also be used to defrost baby food or reheat leftover baby food. Clean up is a breeze, with only one bowl to worry about. Both the bowl and blade are dishwasher safe, adding to the convenience.

    Lol, "unit".

Why is this thread being brought up after 6 mo?
