I was here for only a short period of time but hope you don't mind me posting my question here. I am now on the miscarriage page and getting a lot of support but not too many of them have been through IF. If you can see my siggy, you see my history, but the short story is in the past six months I have had 3 ivfs and the last one finally got me pg to only turn to miscarriage. Now I'm in a place where I don't feel like it will ever happen again. It took almost 3 years to finally get pg. I know I can maybe try and ask in success after IF but know you are in a place where your pregnancies are going well. So I am hoping to hear some positive hopeful stories of getting pregnant after a miscarriage. I can't even believe I'm thinking about this a day after my DandC but I just want this so bad. Thanks to anyone that took the time to read this and reply. And wishing you all the best and hope to be back soon!

It took me 35 months including a m/c at 9ish weeks and a chemical pregnancy/miscarriage at 5 weeks to get pregnant with this baby. I know today is one of the darkest days in your journey, but yes it is possible. I wish you all the best, and send T&P your way. Hugs!

I'm so very sorry for your loss, I hope you are back here soon.
My first natural pregnancy I had a missed miscarriage at 11 weeks, baby measured 8.5 weeks (Trisomy 13), I then had a D&C. With my first IVF, I was technically pregnant, but with rising but non-doubling betas. I eventually miscarried what was a blighted ovum.
Second IVF brought me success (so far) with my twin pregnancy. I know it is very hard to see the positive side of things or even look to the future where you are at right now. But when you are ready to try again, you'll know. Best of luck to you.

I was not trying quite as long as you, but this is my 4th pregnancy. My first 2 were early losses from IUI's, and my last loss was from my first IVF. There was no heartbeat at my 7w u/s.
I was also really discouraged. I wasnt sure if I wanted to cycle again. But we did and here I am.
I found that I needed some time after my IVF loss, and I was glad I took it. I wish you nothing but the best of luck and hope to see you back here soon!
I miscarried after my first IVF. We'd seen a heartbeat and went back to be released by my RE to find the heartbeat had stopped. After I miscarried my body went into a weird place - including 3 1/2 months with no period.
Honestly, I tried posting on the miscarriage and TTC after a loss board, but it felt weird to me. I know they had suffered a miscarriage as well, but there was a lot of talk about OPK's/charting and sex ... and well - none of those things were ever going to be what I needed to do to get pregnant.
Take good care of yourself. A loss is hard, and while I never had a m/c from a natural cycle, I think it's harder when then there's been so much effort into getting pregnant in the first place.

It is hard to pick yourself up after a loss. I am so incredibly sorry for you loss! But there is a light at the end of the tunnel! It took us quite a long time to get here, complete with two m/c. But we got a 2nd opinion and changed our lifestyles and here we are! Best advice is don't give up and work hard for what you want. Sure there were so many nights i broke down and told DH I coudlnt do it anymore and wanted to give up. He was so supportive and would put down the needles and tell me ok, no problem. Then would ask if I wanted a baby and I said yes and then he told me that we needed to do what we needed to do in order to get that. He still uses that today when I get overwhelmed. Take the time you need to grieve but I also found I felt better about the situation when I threw myself into it. I woudl research, I would talk to people on TB, I would do whatever I needed to do to work towards my ultimate goal. Sure there were days I would get caught off guard and break down but its ok. And let yourself take the time to break down and let it out. GL to you!

Thanks for your post! I can't believe how quickly after my DandC that I'm ready to begin again. It will probably be a year before we can do Ivf again but I'm not giving up, can't, want it too bad! Gl to you too!
