How much is too much?

I have been bleeding very heavily for at least 3-4 days now...I had pp bleeding already, but then I got my IUD put in and a week or two later this started. It is super heavy and bright red...sorry for the TMI but every time I pee the water is red. Is this normal for and IUD? My first pp period was heavy, but not this heavy last time so I dunno if its just the IUD?

I don't know, but I'm curious because I got my IUD put in on Tuesday and I'm still bleeding a little. It's not a period, but it's spotting.

Which IUD? I got Paragaurd and was told my periods would be heavier possibly longer. With Mirena the bleeding is supposed to lessen.

I got the mirena iud and had a period like flow for a week and then daily spotting for 3 more weeks! It was pretty rough since I had just stopped pp bleeding the day before I got my iud placed.. Thank goodness it has all stopped as I was getting a little bummed about getting the IUD!
