Can any mom's out there please recommend for me the best brand/type of packn'play and stroller? . I'm willing to invest in a good product if it does what we need. The market is intimidating and overwhelming! I need advice from real moms. The following are our must-haves (aside from the usual good product expectations such as safety)
Stroller: ALL terrain is an absolute must (snow, grass, concrete, crushed packed gravel, etc..); Prefer three wheel look; something that babe can grow into (from newborn till whenever); lightest weight possible and easy to pack-up and throw in the car; compact. Great storage would be a bonus.
Pack n Play: I'm looking for something that is super versatile. I'd like to use it as a bassinet when baby is first born, bonus if if it has a change pad. A napper and a play pen for when baby is older (most I've read are up to 30lbs, that's fine). It needs to be easy enough and compact enough to pack up and take to the cottage or over to grandparents house quite frequently.
Thanks ladies!
Re: Recommendations on Packn'Plays and a Stoller
We have the Graco PnP with reversable napper/changer. We used the napper and bassinet a lot, but never once did we use the changing side. We always just changed her in her room. I went with this model because it was pretty basic and I liked the pattern (forcaster) over a lot of other ones.
We got ths BOB Revolution and I love, love, love it. It was our splurge item and definitely worth it. It is our only stroller and we have used it from day 1 with the carseat adapter. That said, it is heavy and not very compact, but maneuvers SO well. I drive a bigger SUV so that isn't an issue for me.
We also have a Graco PnP. We have the most basic model with just the bassinet. He slept in the PnP in our room for 3 months and we never had a problem with it. I always just take him to the nursery to change his diaper so we really didn't need antying else on it. Can't recommend a stoller to fit your needs. We have the Graco Literider for walks and to use shopping. We didn't need anything too fancy for that.
We got this graco PnP and so far so good! For stroller the britax b safe and b agile stroller!
