Nursery/Crib opinions please!

Okay ladies, I need your help!

We are painting our nursery a light shade of pink. The wainscoting (which is only on two walls) and trim will be painted white. We would like a bedding set that's has pink in it as well.

So my question is...what color crib/furniture should we get? My inital thought was white, but I wasn't sure if that would be too much white in the room. We aren't big fans of lighter wood shades like pine. I loooove cherry furniture,  but can't decide how that would look with the white trim, wainscoting, etc. The room is also small, so I wasn't sure if dark furniture would make the room look smaller.

Any thoughts or opinions?????

    I would say to try to find some pics with similar colors to help to visualize. I'm a big fan of white kid's furniture, so that would be my choice, but I think cherry would look beautiful, too!

    Here are some pics from rate my space - it makes me love the white furniture even more:) I know they don't have the wainscoating, but it at least helped to see the different furniture colors with the pink and white trim? Can't wait to see what you decide - it sounds beautiful!

    Wow, those nursery pics make me feel VERY inadequate with my decorating ability. Sophia's nursery is so plain and boring compared to those.  I'm very "decorator challenged".

    I would say go with white furniture.

    How big is the room?  If it's not a large room you definately don't want to put dark furniture in the room.

    Ooo, Rate my Space! I hadn't thought of that one! I had been trying to find nursery pictures, but in all the pictures I saw, the dark cribs were set up for boys and white ones for girls. I was really having a difficult time visualizing what darker furniture would look like in a lighter room. Still not sure what we'll decide, but thanks for the recommendations ladies!
