    My husband hates my cat also, after years of him pointing out all the problems with her, like her scratching him, shedding, litter box, her being upset and peeing on things, she went to live at my parents house. She's much happier there away from DH. They couldn't stand each other.

    I am so sad for your cat.  Dh and I are both allergic and have three of them.  We just deal with the stuffies, and wash our hands after touching them or our eyes would swell shut.  It is better for your little one to be around cats at an early age it will decrease thier chance for allergies. And I will say if he has been around them for so long and only now acting up after a move, i'd bet it is something in the house he is allergic to, not the cat. Tell him clartin works great and to get over it.  Cats do not do well with relocation.

    Yes.  Plus, he can talk to his doctor about meds.  My friend's hubby is allergic to cats but he takes a medication and he is fine around them.

    I am allergic to cats but I have two anyways. I take zyrtec everyday and vacuum often. I love my cats, so I just deal with and once I stop breastfeeding I am going to get allergy shots.
