My MIL is an OB/.GYN nurse at a hospital. I had my very first u/s with her at 9 weeks and she gave me a EDD of March 15th. To my understanding, that would be the most accurate EDD, however, at my 20 a/s they told me March 11th and at my level II u/s they also gave me a March 11th EDD.
Probably stupid because I know baby rarely arrives on those dates, but which would you go with?
Re: Which due date would you choose?
Agreed!
This was the case for me too. My EDD by LMP was 12/26; by dating u/s it was 1/1. Since I'm currently pregnant on the 30th, it probably would have been good for my mental health to think of it as the dating ultrasound day!

I would go with the first date of March 15....but that is also because I do not want to be induced and if you go with March 11, by March 15 you are now going to be 40 weeks and 4 days and many docs start talking induction the further past EDD you go.
Plus I have heard here that earliest u/s datings are the most accurate, but I don't know that to be true.
We are so thankful that our second daughter, Lillian Elizabeth "Lily", was born healthy and happy on February 11, 2013. We love her to pieces.
We lost our first daughter, Hannah Grace on May 4, 2011. She was buried on May 14 during a beautiful service at my home church. We are grateful that if she could not be here with us, that she is healed and whole with the Lord. We look forward to the day when we will get to meet her. We love her so much.
